Although Los Agaves is one block south of La Super-Rica I'll choose their mole and tacos EVERY TIME! Best traditional Mexican... food in town. The mole enchiladas and molcajete are a MUST! Patio sitting. Kid and pet friendly. Read more

Probably one of the best Mexican restaurant I?ve ever dined in. Their enchilada with some creamy mango sauce was out of the... world, I asked for some same sauce on the side and the staff happily gave it. The salsa bar was freshest and the guac salsa wasperfectly spiced. Had a flight of Margarita as well and it was spot on with the mixes in it. Highly recommended restaurant. Read more

Over all the experience was very good. The flautas were impeccable and the salsa bar has a great range of delicious options.... Carne asada was ok but it?s a smaller portion for the cost, and they didn?t initially bring out the stuffed pepper and corntortillas with the meal. Inside it is very clean with a unique decor. Definitely a solid option for a dinner or Mexican foodcraving in Santa Barbara. Read more

They have indoor and outdoor seating and a decently sized bar. You order at the counter, get a number, and find your own table,... where they bring you your food. Self-serve fountain drinks and salsa bar. Gets terribly busy. Chili Verde burrito was not whatI'm used to for that dish. The inside wasn't even green. It was more orange/brown, I guess from the so much refried beans? Butthe meat was tender and really, good. Got a couple of tacos, carne asada and adobada. Very good but the adobada better. Oh,and you get a basket of tortilla chips; warm, thin, and crispy. Quite delicious. Read more

The places are very nice, beautiful, varied music not only in Spanish and at a low volume. The only part that I did not like is... that you have to line up to order, I like it more is the traditional service of the waiter who takes your order, perhaps due tocovid, that is why they have that system, the food was served very quickly, good presentation, The portions are very generous, and most importantly, everything is very delicious. They have a sauce bar with a wide variety. the fresh waters and themargarita were very good with a lot of flavor. we were lucky to find a space in their tiny parking lot they only have about 8spaces and very small, consider this if you are thinking of coming by car. You can park on the street also. the experience wasvery good I highly recommend it we will return every time we are here Read more

Great place to try. Good drinks I had the beef taquitos. Love that they are made fresh to order the crunchyness of the tortilla... is perfect with each bite. The beans seem blan out of a can. The rice made well but overpower by too much tomatoe paste orsauce Staff is friendly & place is clean Read more

We were very happy with our family lunch at Los Agaves! Wonderful dining experience. They have ample indoor & outdoor seating.... Their ambience & decor is lovely. You place the order at the front counter where they give you a number & you self seat. Drinks& food was brought to the table by the servers. Drinks were great & food was delicious. Everything came quickly. We orderedNachos & guacamole (not pictured), chicken Fajitas plate, tostada salad, & yum mushroom tacos with garlic & red chilies! Youcould tell that the Chips & Tortillas were freshly made. They had a bar with toppings & variety of salsa to choose from.Everything tasted fresh & delicious. Their service was awesome too. We will definitely come back when we are in the area. Read more
