The hottest chicken option is HOT. Im usually like a lot of heat but this is painfully hot. Not their fault but just do yourself... a favor and get a level milder unless you want the thrill. Nice new place in Santa Barbara. I got their country style chicken sandwich and the cut was thick and juicy, not dry at all.... It?s probably about twice the size of a standard chicken sandwich (fast food). The chips that accompany them are pretty good.Their fries are a little on the salty side but it can be balanced with other parts of the meal. The Mac and cheese was ok, my gfwas just a little put off because it tastes like bacon even though we didn?t ask for bacon bits. Read more
Delicious, spicy, crunchy, perfect. I really enjoyed the Korean fried chicken sandwich with the house-made kimchi slaw and... pickles. Located in the back of the SB Public Market this is a great addition to the space. Read more

This is a great place to have in sb. The chicken is so good and with the heat levels to choose from are perfect. A lot of places... you can get the hottest and it?s still weak. The heat they use is not so over powering that it changes the flavor but adds toit. Read more

Located in the Santa Barbara Public Market, this little place cranks out delicious food! If you?re a fan of fast food spicy... chicken sandwiches, Matty?s blows the doors off them. We ordered one Medium Spicy Chicken Sandwich and a side of fries tosplit. Usually, we?d order the hottest option on the menu ? especially when it comes to fast food ? but we heeded the advice ofprevious reviews and ordered a notch down. The chicken was tender, juicy, and steaming hot. The breading had a satisfyingcrunch. Medium was the perfect spice-level for us, and we do like our food spicy. The coleslaw and pickled onions in thesandwich perfectly complimented the spicy chicken. And, let?s not forget about the fries! Perfectly fried shoestring fries.Crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The seasoning was perfect, too. There was something more than salt, but I don?tknow what.
