Great experience. Good food. Some delicatessen are more expensive than you need like the urchin. But the suchi was really good.... I recommend the mike wazauiski, my favorite. They are pet friendly. Good service. Great patio and beautiful inside. The hostessdid something the make me give them 5 stars she gave me the possibility to use a reserved table for two hours while the peoplewho reserved arrive. Many restaurants don’t do these and it is infuriating that they don’t know how to administrate welltheir tables. This hostess now her business. Read more
This being Santa Barbara, the meals going to run you a pretty penny, however, Oku reliably has some of the best fish and sushi... presentations, and their assorted unique sides, as well as main courses all seem to be quite good, though ordering enough tofeel satiated will probably run you over $30 a person without drinks. I tend to average $50/person ordering a mixture of Sushiand appetizers, and we leave no leftovers. Situated across the street from the boardwalk and the beach, Oku does not haveconvenient free parking nearby, however, the walk from the nearby paid lot is only a couple blocks, but the weather's alwaysnice, and the walk is along a beautiful beach ;-) Read more
A great experience! Sat outside upstairs, cute ambiance with lights on the patio but also from some of the lights you see coming... from the pier. Absolutely get the Fried Cauliflower, amazing flavor. Also, need to get the sashimi! Salmon sashimi was likebutter. You can skip the lollipops. They sound super fun, but the flavor just isn’t there. Other reviewers were right about the fried cauliflower.. they were absolutely amazing and we had to order another portion before... finishing the first plate. This dish is the best of all and i would eat the cauliflowers everyday if i could! Nigiri and rollswere just average for us. The view of beach front was nice and service was good! Read more
I found this restaurant when I was looking for a place to eat Uni and this restaurant did not disappoint me. Their uni was super... fresh, sweet and creamy. The other dishes were also tasty, I will definitely be back when I have a chance to visit Santa Barbaraagain. Read more
