I love Peet's coffee for it's bold drip coffee selection, as well as the solid espresso based drinks. This Peet's is no... different in terms of the quality of its drinks. However I think the customer service could be improved when placing an orderin-person. I used to feel welcome coming in to the store up until recently. The lady who appears to be in charge has not been asfriendly nor welcoming to me as a paying customer on several recent visits. It has come to the point where it almost feels likeshe's doing me a favor. I will say that this is isolated to her as the other staff are much friendlier and welcoming. I'm normally a Starbucks guy so I went to the Corner Bakery across the street from this shop to get a latte. When the machines... were broken I walked across to Peet's and I'm glad I did. Peet's coffee is smoother than Starbucks and it was a pleasant place. Read more
This review is specifically for Marilyn (I think is her name. She has long brown hair and is in her early 20s). I was having... issues with the Peets app and connectivity and wanted to redeem some points and a coupon I had. Marilyn tried to help me but Ihad no reception, so she helped me out with redemption on my drink. The manager (I think) with glasses overheard me talkingabout it to my friend and asked me what had happened, then went over and spoke to Marilyn about it like she shouldn?t have donethat. What?s so sad is that Marilyn did a great job, helped me out and I would have definitely stopped by this Peets when I passthrough SB again. But the manager (or lead, whoever she was) listening in to my conversation and then talking to Marilyn aboutthe situation made me feel what she did was wrong, when she was trying to make it right. I like Peet?s the most out of all the big commercial coffee chains. This location is great! I always order ahead on the app,... never had any issues with my drink being messed up or taking too long. A great option for those who like a rich, bold flavor to their coffee. Quiet and rarely crowded. The specials are definitely... worth trying if you want something a little different from classic drink options. They also have many varieties of coffee youcan buy by the bag. Read more
