We were in Santa Barbara for one night and planned it around enjoying shellfish by the sea, and let me tell you, our meal did... not disappoint! Service was excellent! Our waiter was busy, but still was attentive and helpful. I will update if I canremember his name. We enjoyed ever course from our oyster shooters to the crab entree. Nothing was over cooked and everythingtasted fresh. I’ve read some reviews that the clam chowder is over hyped, but we disagree. It was really tasty and packed withclams. Basically each dish was what we wanted it to be. Then the ambiance - of course Sterns Warf at sunset is a delight. Wewere happy to be able to sit outside and enjoy the nice weather. If there’s a wait, just sit it out. This place issurprisingly great for a restaurant in a touristy area. We will definitely be coming back again next visit! Read more

Good! Fun location right at the end of Stearn's Pier. Magnificent views of the sun setting over the hills. Shrimp and scallops... over a bed of linguini are so good. And guess what, you can order any pasta with Uni on top (well, for $14!). Not the largestplate, but very tasty. And it does have a small piece of toasted bread. Two shrimp tacos on corn tortillas, Spanish rice andavocado were delicious. Of course, I'm very partial to tacos. Again, small serving but loved it. Really, the four stars comefrom solid food, indoor and outdoor seating, a fun walk/drive to the end of the pier, and splendid views. Read more

I'd say in general we were very happy with our selections and of course if you eat outside you get beautiful views. The calamari... was good but not the best I've ever had and the crab cakes were okay but I thought they could have been more flavorful. All inall, the scenery was excellent and the food was good. The service was a bit slow. Read more

Service: great, nice waiters Wait time: had to wait 30-40 minutes because we wanted to dine in and seated at a booth. You can... order on the side and just eat on the pier if you don’t want to dine Food: Clam chowder was good but not memorable. It was myfirst time trying cioppino and I didn’t like the watered down red tomato sauce taste. I was imagining it to be moreflavorful, despite this, the amount of seafood in it was generous. The bread bowl was probably the best part and that’s notsaying much. We also got 3 of their pasta(can’t recall which ones) and they had an odd fishy taste. Presentation: all the foodhad beautiful presentation Cleanliness: Everything seemed clean. If anything, they should sanitize their menus real quickbetween party uses (they’re readily available on the table) Overall, it seems the food we got here was a miss. Bring asweater and hair clip/tie if you plan to dine outside, breezy/chilly. Easy parking Read more

Best seafood spot to hit if you’re on the Santa Bárbara pier. You better hurry too cause it will get full. First time trying... sea urchin here and it was good. Thought it would be different but it kinda melts in your mouth. Biggest thing to take away fromthis place is that the staff is great and it’s the freshest seafood around. Everything was great and I’m not a big seafoodguy. It’s a must stop if you’re in Santa Bárbara. Read more

A really great seafood restaurant. Good food, good service. Infact fresh food. They have live crabs, uni (sea urchins) etc. And... if you sit inside on the bar-style seat, you can see them in action. Food: we ordered Uni shot - one of the best ways to eatsea urchins in my opinion. And this was a really great starter. You get a kick of chili in it. Oyster shot - this was okay. Wellafter Uni shot, this was sorta let down. At least for me as it had similar sauce that is served with shrimp cocktail. Lobsterroll - omg this was delicious. It had shredded lobster meat and was served with coleslaw and onion rings on the side. Lobsterpasta - it was great. The base was lemon sauce. I feel the lobster meat would have tasted much better with Alfredo sauce, butI'm no chef... Read more

We are tourists in Santa Barbara, and I think this spot is the perfect place to end the day here, especially if you like sea... food. I got the lobster roll, which was my very first one and it was delicious. It was sweet and buttery, and packed withlobster. The side was coleslaw and onion rings, and the coleslaw was great. My wife got the clam chowder bread bowl. She likedit as well. Creamy and pairs very well with the bread. The third dish we got was fried oysters and it was better than Iexpected. Usually I don't tend to like fried oysters but this one tasted fresh and delicious. Overall we paid about $75 withouttip. Definitely worth it. The view itself at the end of the day is priceless. We came here two days in a row because we had a very good experience the first time. We sat at the counter and our server was... amazing. He was attentive and explained the menu in detail. We had soups, live sea urchin, raw oysters and lobster andeverything was delicious. However the second time was not that great. Read more
