I love See's Candy, I have my entire life. The clean and heavenly smelling shops always bring back a flood of happy memories of... absolutely delicious chocolates. I brought my 96-year-old mama here just today and everyone treats her like a queen. And thefree sample of the day was Cherry cordial, which is one of my favorites! I've been going to See's Candy since I was a young child. Always a special treat! During this Covid-19 pandemic time, I was... pleased to be able to order a custom box online & pick it up @ the La Cumbre Plaza store where there's plenty of parking. Easy! I ordered on line just outside the shop. I went up to the window, knocked on the window as was signposted and stepped back... behind the barrier. The lady working there decided to yell at me for knocking on the wrong window and proceeded to argue with methat her instructions were clear. The order was not ready and I was told I could cancel on line - could not see how to do that.At least THIS person's idea of customer service is only in her dreams. Will not go back! Read more
The candy at See's is not cheap, but it is rather amazing. You can build your own box from their selection of freshly made... candies or, if you're in a hurry, there are plenty of prepackaged boxes you can grab and go. You can also expect to find avariety of pre-packaged seasonal items. They always have samples of their monthly specials available to try and if you'd liketo sample something you've never tried before, chances are they're happy to help. This particular location has ample,easy-to-access parking. I've been buying candy here for years and everyone who's ever helped me here has been unfailingly politeand helpful, even on the busiest days. If you plan to buy candy on February 13th or 14th or just before any other majorcandy-oriented holiday, come prepared to wait; many other people may be doing the same thing. Enjoy your amazing candy! We love See's Candies and frequently visit the location in Ventura, but decided to try this location. We were disappointed... though, the woman who helped us could use some customer service training. She never greeted us nor did she smile. When myhusband said that he did not prefer the sample that she offered, she did not offer another. When I began my order she quicklyand impolitely corrected me, never thanked us nor spoke any polite nor unnecessary word to us. Will not visit this particularlocation again. Very disappointed!
