Really enjoyed the food and the service. Very friendly staff and they will explain all the items on the menu very well. Lots of... vegetarian options. There is a lot of hype around this restaurant. I can confirm this hype is well deserved. The restaurant itself is beautiful and... the service was wonderful but, the food was amazing. We had a great time! The food was delicious, ambience was just the right kind and wait staff were very polite. Pros: - Food was... not too oily or nauseating. This was the first thing we noticed. It was simple but delicious. - Great service. The staff arevery nice and made us feel welcome - The cocktails were strong and were perfect - The chocolate mochi was the highlight - Mywife also really liked the vegan noodles w/ sesame sauce - Honorable mention: The beans were surprisingly good Cons: - The waittime. We put our names down as soon we got to the mall at 4 PM on a Sunday and we were told the wait time was ~2 hours! This is the best of Taiwanese food. They are world famous. I had eaten at the original, the first Din Tai Fung in Taipei, and... also had them all over the world, even in Sydney, Dubai, Bangkok, etc. And they never fail to impress me. They always have aview of the kitchen right at the front to let people see how their food were made. Aside from being extremely delicious, andobsessed about using the freshest ingredient. They are usually in a classy venue with excellent staffs that attend to you everyneed. It's Taiwanese food at it's finest... You've got to try it. And good luck making a reservation, as they are usually verycrowded for obvious reasons. Read more
I love this place! The atmosphere is incredible and the wait staff is very knowledgeable and polite. That doesn't even touch on... how amazing the food is here! The food came soon after we ordered it and is always amazing quality. One warning: the line to getin can be quite long, so book a reservation or make sure you get to the restaurant with plenty of time to spare before you wantto eat. The wait is completely worth it! Simply wonderful experience. I loved the food. My friends had been telling me to try the soup dumplings from here for some... months now and it did not disappoint. Hard to get a booking, but thankfully found something late at 9 in the midweek. Woulddefinitely go there again and a few more times. The waiters were pretty courteous and helpful as well. Read more
First time here and it was an excellent experience! The food was delicious. Though a bit pricey for dim sum, the dumplings were... the best I've ever had. Service was on point as the servers came with the food quickly and were great about clearing the table.They were all helpful and friendly. I can't wait to return! Read more
Amazing experience! We ordered 5 items, which was the perfect amount of food for 2 people. Everything was delicious! The... cocktails were incredible too. The service was phenomenal, and the environment is great. The reason I give it 4 stars is thattheir reservation system/process makes it exceedingly difficult to make a reservation.
