They met above expectation when it comes to fine dining standard. The crispiness of the pork belly, the umami flavor from... gochujang and the sourness from the braised leek made this dish outstanding. Green algae jook with oyster was good but would bebetter to add different texture. Also, they keep changing the menu every month. Ambiance: Excellent Service: Excellent Food:Good Read more

This restaurant was highly recommended by a close friend who is Korean. She mentioned the authenticity of the place and... reasonable pricing of the set menu. I was able to grab a reservation two months in advance in September, which ended up inNovember. Tip: New reservations that are two months ahead come out at midnight. They are closed Sunday and Monday, so calculateaccordingly! The reservation get snatched up fast, so make sure you have the page ready to go prior to midnight! Our set menuat the time features the autumn season. We have the following - Acorn Pudding with Kimchi and Korean Pear - light andrefreshing appetizer White Shrimp ball with Bori Shrimp on House made Gochujang Sauce - These were so delicious, shrimps werefresh and gochujang sauce added a nice kick! Jjimdak Style Chicken with Autumn Vegetables - this was so good! they had bothwhite and dark meat and I honestly have never had chicken breast that was as tender and juicy as this. Chestnut Ice Cream withHorchata Veil - loved the asian flavor ice cream! Wagyu Rib-eye cab (add-on) - we probably didn?t need to order this add-on aswe were pretty full by the end of the meal but this was really good as well. The wagyu was buttery and rich, the amount wasperfect for two. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Restaurant Gish. I will definitely come back again, just need to stayawake till midnight to make reservation! Read more

Went to celebrate a belated Valentine's. Definitely one of the best food in the area. Great food & service! The duck liver pate... is top notch! The desert was also very refreshing and not too sweet. The Angus was a little too well-done for my liking but overall I loved the place. Will definitely go again, looking forward to the monthly menus :) Read more

Been here twice already, and this place is phenomenal. The menu changes every month, and is always unique, delicious, and the... portions aren't as stingy as other artsy places. The price is also reasonable, and the service is warm and friendly. Diamond inthe rough if I ever did see one. Read more

We were here to enjoy some asian fine dining sets and they managed to deliver at decent prices. The food and the combination are... very creative. I've tasted a nice sweetness from fresh tomatoes and a slight touch of vinegrette sour excited your pallets. Thefish dish sauce is really good, but the fish is not as flavorful. However, I still highly recommend anyone trying this place. Read more

Home style Korean restaurant, feels so cozy like home. They do only have around 18 seat per round, and have 2 round per night. I... love their monthly menu, will definitely come back for next menu too. Their menu will change monthly and all depends on seasonalingredients, so everything are fresh. Read more

My former favorite restaurant used to be in this space. Maybe this spot only attracts creativity and food magic. It's a... different experience, come with an open mind. The menu changes monthly. The ingredients are fresh. The dishes are satisfying andplayful. October's main entree was one of the best things I have ever eaten. I'm still dreaming about the cinnamon syrup thatwas part of dessert. The only downside is that I can't eat gluten. Husband did not mind. He ate what I could not. I got luckythis month, there was plenty I could eat. It's tricky to plan and get a reservation. But if you don't have any allergies and areadventurous it is worth it. Read more

I heard of this popular restaurant from a friend. They offer a short tasting menu ($55 per person) with 3 courses and 1 dessert.... We went there in august and we love the atmosphere. It?s a small but cozy restaurant with enough distance from other tables, which makes it great for dates. We finished all the courses with an empty plate each time. For August?s menu, the appetizer istomato panzanella. We love this salad. Then you will get oyster for the second course and fish for the third. This is not atraditional restaurant and there?s some fusion here and there. The taste is great (especially with its value). If it?s easier toget reservation, we will definitely go back to try it again. Highly recommend. Read more
