Went to this place after hearing from lots of people. We went to the afternoon buffet. Food was good we really liked the taste.... Good options for both vegetarians and non vegetarians. But the service was very poor, we got like 3 spoons and 2 tissue paperinstead of the cloth. The waiter was rude when we asked for water and rotis. Overall good food but very bad service. I had to invite a very long time friend and I offered him multiple options and I gave Indian as one. I thought Sakoon will be... the best and it indeed turned out that way. The food was perfect flavorful yet not on the spicy side. It also had a veryappetizing presentation and the menu had great variety. Read more

We tried Butter chicken and Dal “Sakoon”. Butter chicken sauce was almost the perfect I had so far. Dal is very well cooked... and delicious. Virgin mojitos are super refreshing. Do check this place out. Read more

We went to mountain view Sakoon and had high expectations as the food quality was too good there. I ordered Tandoori chicken... from El camino Sakoon and the chicken was pathetic. Chicken was stale and tasted bad. Everybody took one bite and said the samething that it’s bad! I have to throw full tandoori chicken, will not order from here again! Evening spoiled &Wasted Money! Very spacious family restaurant. Food was above average, though I was expecting more given reputation of their mountain view... location. My favorite was Rumali roti. Service was inconsistent. We had to send some roti back because it was cold. Took them awhile to bring back the warm one. Read more

I tried Rumali Roti, Sunerhi Murgh , chicken biryani . The size of the rumali roti was quite big , but i felt like regular roti... , that might be because i got the order after 1 hour of placing the order. Biryani was very watery and sticky and the rice issoaked very much . It was like stale food. Huge disappointment! Read more

We had the Sunday lunch buffet, $20, and it was delicious. They had palak corn, malai paneer, kadhi, and dal makhani for veg.... Chicken curry, tandoori chicken, briyani chicken, for non veg. There is raita and chutney as well for tika and pakoraappetizers. The dessert was lechyee halawa (bit weird) and kheer (only ok). The restaurant is really lovely looking, greatambience, which Indian restaurants don't always. For us the service was good, the wait staff cleaned up plates in a timelymanner. Read more
