I found this place by pure chance. For such a small place it has a very good menu, especially for breakfast. They actually have... crispy hash Browns! The people are so friendly I almost felt like family. Their tables are small so it is not a place for a bigcelebration... It is perfect for a quaint family meal. Came here and had a delicious brunch with kind and responsive staff, as well as pretty minimal waiting time. Food was priced... decently - I had the waffle with fresh strawberries. The waffle was soft and the powdered sugar complemented it well. Sara?skitchen has been here for a while now and it sure makes sense why! Read more
Wouldn?t recommend. Overcooked egg Benedict. Very disappointed. They wouldn?t remake the poached eggs because they were closing,... which was made really obvious as the owner repeated multiple times they were not taking new customers. They ended up taking $3off the bill for the egg. Read more
This is a cozy old american breakfast place. I had to wait like 5 mins to get a table on Saturday morning. Their portion size is... perfect, I am glad that I was not overloaded with so much extra food. We ordered a veg omelette and a country sausage plate. Itwas good for two people. I'm happy that we didn't have to waste any food. It came with a toast on side with salted butter ????everything was so good here.. 2/27/2022 at 9:24am. Have been here 11/27/2016 and 1/27/2018 and never had the owner be so rude towards me. Previous recent... posting shows that I am not the only person to be rudely treated. Place was not crowded. Was told to sit anywhere we wanted.Waited 5 minutes to get a menu handed for 3 people to share. Waiter took our order and did not tell us "No Substitutions". Attop right corner of menu, it says "No Substitutions". The owner delivered our food. Showed her that what the waiter wrote doesnot match what is being served. She acted very upset at us and said "No Substitutions" and walked away. According to menu, teriyaki chicken with Asparagus comes with rice. Waiter wrote no rice substitute fries. We were expecting fries. When we try toshow owner she kept saying "No Substitutions" and walked away. Not a big deal. But how about the Teriyaki Mushroom cheesesteak?We ordered Teriyaki Mushroom cheesteak. Menu says Teriyaki Mushroom cheese steak comes with rice. You serve with french roll.Owner refused to acknowledge that I got french roll. You can see in the picture, I got french roll.Also, what about mushrooms?Can you find mushrooms in the picture? Yes, I could find 2 slivers of mushrooms. Owner was rude in not wanting to listen to thefact that the food served does not match the menu or what the waiter wrote. Essentially, walks away so I had to eat what was noton the menu. I feel like I had to eat what they serve me. I did have the option to pay for the coffee and leave the fooduntouched since the food served did not match what was on the menu or written on the bill. See attached pictures. Never hadbeen so rudely treated as if I wanted to take advantage of the restaurant. All I was seeking was an apology of the ordermisunderstanding and the waiter should have told us "No Substitutions". This would have resolved the Teriyaki chicken withAsparagus over rice. We ordered all kinds of vegetarian eggs; scrambled, omelette. They all come with some kind of potatoes and fruit or toast. The... food was okay. Not much taste in it. So we have been driving by this place for quite some time. We decided to try it because of the 4.4 reviews and it was an ok... place for breakfast. I had the steak and eggs, and my wife had the bacon and eggs. Now this place is pretty average as breakfastplaces go, there was nothing that stuck out about the food that was great. The steak I had was just ok, pretty chewy and not thegreatest steak, the coffee was good and everything else was just average. The service was excellent and the reason I didn't giveit a 3 star was because of the waiter, he was very attentive to our needs and was overall great. Would we come back here??Probably not, there are a ton of average breakfast places and we always are on the lookout for a great one. Read more
