Remember when you had the Ball Park franks in your hand at the grocery store, and your mom switched them out for the "Bar S"... brand ones that were obviously inferior, WAY skinner, and about a third the price? This is a lesser dog than those. First timehaving the famous dog. I ordered the Brisket Dog. I got the Mustard Dog(?), extra mustard. Okay, Mustard is fine, this isreally about the dog! It was flaccid and warm. It lacked any snap of a grilled natural casing. It was small. It was bland. The texture mealy, when it wasn't outshone by the bun. It greatly underwhelmed. The chili-cheese fries a disappointment oforange and yellow... Sauces? They were Potato...ie I guess? So there's that. I waited 15 minutes for the 4 cars before me toget through. 15 minutes. 4 cars. And I got a floppy dog and soggy fries. The lemonade was tasty though! This must truly be a"ya had ta grow up with it" kind of thing, because I'm missing the appeal entirely. The service was very friendly, the pricewas reasonable considering the quality, and I'm glad that's one I can knock off the ol' checklist. But I'll never be back. Read more
I think it's cheap food if you like hot dogs and beans and you know really cheap fast food you won't be disappointed but I'd... rather go to Applebee's a little bit more money but a lot more delicious than hot dogs I could get at the dollar store for adollar Read more
Stopped at Wienerschnitzel after church this morning. So, disappointed in the service. The young man taking my order never... greeted me when I pulled up to the drive-thru; he basically said "what can I get you"! As I pulled up to the window to pick upmy order, once again no greeting, and this time, no thank-you. He handed me my food. Never asked if I wanted mustard or ketchup,only handed me my card and receipt, all the while looking over his shoulder to his colleague. DUDE! Would it kill you to smileat the customer and make eye-contact? Not even a thank-you from him as I departed. Boy, he is definitely a candidate forrefresher customer service training! Read more
Surprisingly good hot dogs. Other friends that went with us had the chili dogs. Thought they were also outstanding.
Had the number #3. It was doggone good. Chili was hot and filling. Fries were aplenty. Strawberry lemonade was a good and... slightly fruity sip. This is a great alternative to McDonald's. Read more
I would like some napkins next time I eat here. They are helpful when eating your food. Also, please do not turn me away at... 10:50-10:55pm when you guys are supposed to be cooking until that clock hits 11pm, then u start cleaning up and closing for thenight. The employees had hard time understanding orders and messed mine up. They had hard time when people were trying to use coupon... codes they didn't know where or what to do. The food is always good if your in the mood for that stuff. I would rather eat atother locations that wienerschnitzel has in my area.. Read more
If you like the old time nostalgic era when A&W was a real drive up, not drive through, then you can truly enjoy this quick... service, tasty ???? simple food, even though you do drive through, literally!
