so many fish were unavailable today. We?ve ordered 8 nigiri and 3 were not available and had to substitute for others. The most... disappointing part was the rice on the nigiri. They weren?t cooked enough and I could feel the rice grain when eating. I?vementioned this to a server and she just ignored. Make sure you take a picture or count how many pieces you receive. The atmosphere is great! Very cozy and warm feeling. Sushi and sashimi were decent.
Their food is good. The tempura is great. I might skip the sushi next time and focus on their entrees and dinner combinations.... Love the behind the restaurant seating. Read more
Cozy small place with decent food. Sashimi Moriawasi was really good. Fish and Octopus were fresh! The Salmon & Tuna tartar was... a right raw & crispy combination. Only complaint I have is our appetizer was served after the entrée. Read more
Some vegan options but not plenty. The price is not too high, which I would expect since you are not eating any fish, however ... you only have the option of building your own sushi, and it makes the rolls not too special, no sauce toppings or anything. Hands down my favorite local sushi restaurant. We raised our kids on Yuki. This is my personal standard for how sushi should... taste. Casual and comfortable atmosphere but be prepared to wait outside because the dining room is small. Lunch or dinner,always a favorite, never disappointed. Nice to see the recent upgrades. Was a pretty decent place to grab a well portioned and affordable Bento Box for lunch. The decor and ambience leaves a little to... be worked on. Service was iffy as it was a quiet afternoon and not busy, but felt rushed. Would definitely go again, maybe I'lltry an evening. Read more
