The tamales here are so delicious! They are stuffed....definitely no skimping on the filling and so, so yummy!! I've tried the... pork and the jalapeno cheese, both are delicious, but the jalapeno cheese is my favorite. I haven't tried to chicken yet but I'msure it's just as amazing as the others. When we went in, we had to turn around and walk out to find a different donut place because the female employee was speaking in... broken English through a dirty mask. I couldn't really hear the woman that was speaking to us, because of the mask and thebroken English was strange because I felt weird. I'm not a terrible person that hates foreigners or anything of that nature, butI didn't like the fact that the woman just turned around and walked into the back of the establishment out of sight and left ushanging there. It wasn't because I said anything rude. Believe me, I don't mess with the people that prepare/handle myfood. Because of this experience, I have no desire to go back. Other reviews claim this place is great and I wish I had achance to try it. By the way, the last time I was there it was a different donut company. I read many many reviews about this place and nothing said anything about their cakes (I only saw reviews for their donuts and... tamales). I looked at every place in Santa Clarita (that had decent prices) and no other bakeries sold a Strawberry ChantillyCream Cake. I've had this particular type of cake from other places and CB&C just doesn't even remotely compare. The service waswonderful and the price was great, but don't buy this cake here. It wasn't good. I gave 4 stars because I'm not trying to ruinanyone's business. I just wanted to share my experience with their cakes for those who need this info like I did. Their donutssound amazing though! Open at all hours of the night. Employees don't judge you if you come in to sober up a little after spending the evening at... Schooners. Tamales are great and the selection of donuts isn't massive, but it gets the job done. Read more
