How can you make mac and cheese so dry? My sons could not eat it. Me and my wife's plate was below average. When you pay $30... for a fish plate you expect at least an edible fish. My fish was so dry I could not eat it without washing it down with a lot ofwater. I paid over $100 and the food was worse than a cheap small restaurant. They need to train or change their chef. P.S.It is obviously a rip-off and a bad version of Olive Garden (even they used same font) Read more

We had one of the nicest dining experiences we've had since we moved to the Santa Clarita Valley a year ago here at Olive... Terrace Bar and Grill. We were there on a Thursday night after the super hot weather and it was lovely out on the patio withlive jazz piano playing while we dined. Couldn't have been a nicer atmosphere. The food was almost as good. There were plentyof vegetarian options on a very extensive menu which has some dishes that change seasonally. I started with the spring cucumbergazpacho. This was the only thing that was really disappointing about the experience. I've had various gazpachos at differentrestaurants and always love the creativity behind a refreshing and often sweet soup. This gazpacho was unusually thick and had astrange sour aftertaste. I couldn't and didn't want to finish it. My wife and I both got half sizes of the market grilledromaine salad which we both liked a lot. The grilled romaine lettuce was delicious, I definitely thought that there could'vebeen more toppings on it. (I really wanted the watermelon feta salad but they didn't offer it in a half size like every othersalad.) My wife really enjoyed her linguine pesto made with gluten-free fusilli. It's nice that they have a gluten-free pastaoption the pesto was fresh and even my son the picky eater, enjoyed it as leftovers the next day. Probably my favorite part ofthe meal, what is the bread that came with it. The baguette was perfect and came with nicely salted butter and olive tapenadeand an olive oil and balsamic dip. That was so cool! Often you just get one of those things with the bread service they bring inhere I got to eat so much of a baguette trying all three! We will definitely come back. The atmosphere was lovely, there'splenty more for us vegetarians to try, and it seems like this is probably one of the nicest places you can eat here in SantaClarita. Read more

What a great night and dining experience we had last night. We came here with two adults and 2 children who are 13. Parking... was super easy and making a reservation was equally as easy. They offer in-door and out door dining, we sat outside and it wasthe perfect night. They have a gentleman who plays guitar outside and has a great voice, our waitress could not be any kinder, knowledgeable and just a happy person, so nice to see. We ordered the burrata, which came with tomatoes, grilled peaches and asmall dollop of pesto, insanely good! We also ordered a charcuterie board which had dried figs, 4 cheeses, meats, olives, breadand cranberries. The entrees we ordered were the pasta with meat sauce, beef stroganoff and my personal favorite, chickenpiccata. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for solid good food in a great atmosphere. Read more

Superb meal in an upscale atmosphere with interesting decor and knowledgeable wait staff. I rarely leave a restaurant thinking... that every aspect of the meal was just about perfect. This restaurant is an exception. Food had excellent flavor and was wellpresented. Our waiter was well versed in the menu and what could be prepared for us. The New England clam chowder was served ina freshly toasted sourdough bowl. It had lots of flavor, clams, potatoes, celery and spice. The saffron chicken with dill Limabasmati rice was a big hit. A good balance of spice and flavor. For vegetarian options Spaghetti squash also a good choice. Lotsof flavor here too. Butternut squash soup was some of best we have tasted. The other couple liked the lamb and lasagna equallyas well. Be prepared to spend time reviewing the menu. Very extensive. Prices were a bit high but considering the high qualityof the food and the way it was presented I feel it is worth the price. Well worth a visit if you are in the area. We madereservations and glad we did. It was quite busy. Read more
