Store charged my spouses and my cards MULTIPLE times. Haven?t received a refund. They lied and said my cards declined, then we... magically got delivered a pizza. We already ordered from somewhere else. They argued when I told them corporate told me torefuse the order as they made the mistake. Still haven?t gotten a refund and neither has my husband. Not safe for your health. We ordered pizza right after they open, they said to come back in 10-15 min. We came back in 20 and it... was still not ready. But my main concern was sanitary standards, I saw the lady ( Indian lady with eyeglasses) making pizzaswithout wearing mask and gloves, in between she was touching cashier machine and never washed hands. When I asked about gloves,she said: No, Papa John?s policy is NOT to wear gloves! She was mean, and screaming on the young guy who works with her. My worst experience with a pizza place. I ordered the cinnamon pull apart bread. And when I got it delivered, there was a chunk... missing. It looked like someone took the piece. I called and was told that they dropped it and should "Just eat it". I sentpictures and explained that I didn't feel comfortable eating the bread. When I asked for a refund I wasn't given a response. Have ordered from this place a couple of times. First time was a carryout order, and the service was less than friendly. That's... fine, not everyone has to be all smiles. About a month later, I ordered a large order for a party and these guys didn't botheroffering any deals/coupons and just charged up the full amount (which ended up being an absurd sum). You can get better serviceand better treatment at any other large chain in SCV. We're not giving any more business to these folks until ownership changes. Read more
They're the closest easiest spot to get food but lately it isn't great. From the beginning they have been rude and their... customer service just isn't there. I stopped ordering the pizza because the last couple times it just hasn't been cooked rightor it gives everyone a stomach ache. Today the man refused to take my dollar bill because of a slight tear so I had to goanother business to exchange it. And he wouldn't give a receipt until I asked. I make it a point to get the receipt since therewas one time the owner called my at night to ask for my card information because he said I didn't pay when I picked it up. Itwas in my bank statement. They don't wear gloves, they go to the register with flour up to their arms. I gave them so manychances but I can't anymore. Read more
Horrible customer service the owners are very rude, none of the employees or owners wear gloves while prepping the food. The... pizza was very undercooked. My order was also late by over 40 minutes.. owner charged my card but later called to tell me I owedthem money for an unpaid for pizza that had been picked up. I checked with my bank and I was charged for my pizza. DO NOTSUPPORT THIS BUSINESS. I will never be spending my hard earned money here again. Read more
Wow what a HORRIBLE service this place is! On Christmas Day I placed an online order around 8pm and once my transaction went... through it stated that it will take 130 minutes to get the pizza ready. I honestly wish that information was there BEFORE takingmy money. I tried calling multiple times to cancel my order and nobody was answering the phone. It was nearly 11pm and the apphere on Google said the store would be closing at 11pm. My online order still stated that the pizza was in the 1st step in themaking and will still take 130 minutes. Once 12:30am hit , it showed the pizza was picked up already. I was so confused and Icalled and again nobody picked up. I called the next day and asked for a refund since I tried cancelling and nobody was pickingup. The staff stated only the manager can give out refunds and they will call me back. I never received a call in return. Idecided to call the papa johns customer service and they also stated they could not give out refunds and only the store managercould. Yesterday 12/27 I called and asked for a refund. Same story. Only the manager can give out refunds and he will call me.He never called. I called AGAIN and sure enough the manager was there. (Tony). I let him know the whole situation and he said hecouldn?t give me a refund because they couldn?t verify if the pizza was actually picked up by me or not. He stated their systemisn?t ?rigged? . If I could I would rate ?zero starts?. I placed an order and I called 1.5 hrs later to follow up. The owners who was there... (refused to speak to me) -I could hear her telling the employee on the phone that ?no manager or owner was there?. I?m beyondupset how how unprofessional this papa John is.
