My favorite restaurant in Santa Clarita! My wife and I have brought numerous friends and family there and everyone responds the... same - VERY ENTHUSIASTIC THUMBS UP! I've tried about half of the dishes on the menu and have never been disappointed. Theingredients are fresh and meals are always served piping hot! The salads are creative and delicious and the desserts are divine(I've tried nearly every one). Top that off with very knowledgable and attentive staff and I guarantee you will leavehappy. Honestly, I wish I could find fault, but these guys seem to nail it every single time. Anyway, it's Saturday afternoonand I'm very excited about my dinner tonight at Piccola Trattoria - again!!! The most authentic Italian food you’ll ever have, it is a restaurant you should try!!! Our waiter was so sweet. For our... appetizer we had the Prosciutto e Melone, Prosciutto e Funghi and it was exquisite, it was the best prosciutto I’ve evertasted, it was fresh! Our entree’s were amazing as well. For dessert we had Tiramisu ,Cannoli and the best Cappuccino you’veever had and trust me I’ve had many from various coffee shops. I imagine the food is as authentic as it is in Italy. Make sureyou make reservations and they have valet parking for only $6.00. I can’t wait for the next special occasion to have a reasonto come back. Read more

My first time visit to this piccola in city of Santa Clarita. Loved the authentic style of Italian food specifically my first... time trying risotto and it's delicious. The margherita pizza is pleasingly appetizing with each bite. Trying for best pizza inthe town is quite competitive as we have many pizza options but so far this is the best I had in SCV. Spinach ravioli didn't metmy expectations but still has that flavor . The desserts we tried are chocolate lava cake with vanilla which created wonderswith each spoon of that melted chocolate to relish and gloat the amalgamation of chocolate and vanilla. The Tiramisu is on parwith taste but not as good as the other. Only con here is bit expensive everything. Had to pay $6 for valet parking and ofcourseexpensive menu. Read more

The 1st time my family and I dined here tonight , it definitely won't be our last! ????? The drinks were perfect, and the... appetizers were delicious! I ordered an aperol spritz, and my husband ordered a Cadillac margarita, and both were perfect! Forappetizers, we ordered the fried calamari and a pepperoni pizza. Our kids enjoyed both! For our entrées we ordered thefollowing (family of 6): our 9-year-old enjoyed the pizza (DELICIOUS), Our 19 year old son and gf ordered the steak and ravioliand they both ate every morsel. Our 14-year-old ordered the lasagna (as did I), and it was the best lasagne I've ever had!! Myhusband ordered the spaghetti and meatballs; the portion was enough to feed 2 people - it was also very tasty! We also ordereddessert, and it was scrumptious! We all loved it and definitely want to return asap!! The service was excellent! Thank you toall the staff for your service! Read more

We'd been looking forward to trying Piccola Trattoria...the website and reviews make it, and its sister restaurant look like the... nicest Italian restaurants we have in the Santa Clarita Valley. The experience was good, the service and ambiance excellent, butthe food itself didn't quite live up to what we were hoping for. I enjoyed the glass of red wine I got, a smooth Italian thewaiter recommended. He was spot on with his choice and it went down the way I wanted. My wife had a peach bellini. She didn'ttaste as much peach in it as she would have liked and I agreed it was not as present as one would want in a bellini. We shared2 appetizers...the Misticanza salad (which my wife asked for light dressing or dressing on the side...there was too muchdressing on it) and the Cauliflower Soup special, which was super tasty. For our mains, my wife had the Pomodoro pasta but withgluten-free pasta instead of the angel hair it's usually served with. Kudos to Piccola Trattoria for offering a gluten freepasta...this was a basic dry pasta but it was cooked right (it's super easy to mess up gluten-free pasta.) The sauce itself waslight...maybe because of the thicker Gf penne noodles whereas the pomodoro usually comes in a thinner angel hair...there wasn'tenough of the sauce and it wasn't particularly amazing, but serviceable. I ordered the Tagliolini con Tartufo Frescho off thespecials menu...it's a house-made tagliolini pasta with a thick cream sauce and, probably what made it the most expensive itemon the menu was the shaved truffle the server added tableside. The house-made pasta was perfect and exactly the right textureand taste you want from fresh pasta, but overall the dish was super-dense and rich. The truffles didn't have or add much flavorto the dish and the sauce itself was more cream than "mushroom and truffle fondue" that the item description said. I wish Ihadn't ordered this. We shared the molten pistachio cake for dessert. We liked this, the cream pis Read more
