I have visited about half a dozen times. (I don't live in the area, or it would be more.) It doesn't matter whether it is busy... or quiet, dinner or lunch my meal is always a great eating experience. The service is friendly and attentive. It is a small,cozy, comfortable venue. My favorite menu items: sex on the beach appetizer, hot knight roll, deluxe crunch roll, and mackerelsushi; these are a consistent satisfaction! Really, try "Sushi 661".???? Read more

Normally this place is busy and packed. But I wasn?t so surprised by situation today. Called in an order. Came out to $140 so... not a small order. Was told it will be ready on an hour. I said great since I was driving home from work. Get to Sushi 611.Order is ready. Great. I pay. The guy at the register gives me to bags of food. I made sure to ask if it was everything sinceit looked small for my order. He firmly reassured me that it was everything I had order. Being on the road for almost 2 hours Itake his word and go home (he knows better.). I get home. My wife starts to unpack to my family can have late dinner (6:20pm)half my order is missing. I called restaurant and they inform me that I was not given the 3rd bag and if I wanted the food. Whatwould have happened if I said no would I have gotten a refund ??? I?m irritated already. Hopped back into my car and drove backto restaurant. Different cashier at the register. Told her that I was here for the rest of my food. Seemed to me that customersdon?t really matter since she kind of was laughing that my order was messed up. Best part no one really said sorry for wastingyour time. Thanks. Oh the original guy that gave me my food. Looks at me and just keeps chatting with other customer. But gaveme a look like I was wasting his time. Got home. Still missing 1 appetizer?? will not refund said got store credit for nexttime I order. So out $10 Anyways tried the food. It?s bland. No flavor at all. The salmon bentos are dry and burnt. We discovered Sushi 661 today and were blown away by the quality of the food and service! We came from lunch on a Saturday and... they had immediate seating. We were in and out in less than 45 minutes (with freshly prepared sushi). Order was a 911 roll andscallop roll which was to die for. Can?t wait to return! 10/10 recommendation Read more
2nd Update: We moved out of Santa Clarita a year ago. First time to be back at Sushi 661. Service was still excellent got a... table right away. The prices had gone up a couple bucks since last year but what hasn't. Noticed the tuna wasn't up to par asbefore our pieces seemed to be stringy and a bit tough. Have to drop a star for that. I hope it was just an aberration Update: First time to visit since Covid started last year. Service and the food was still excellent. $15 for a two item bento box. Ihad the sashimi and bulgogi. The fish was fresh and tender. AYCE is suspended for now. Went at 6pm on a Thurs. We were seatedimmediately. The restaurant was at full capacity but no one was waiting outside. The fish is fresh and good quality. Iusually order the bento box. The ramen is good with large bowls, you're able add whatever ingredients you want. They alsooffer all you can eat at $32 for dinner. The prices are average for sushi restaurants. The service is good, food's good, it'sclean with ample parking. It does get busy on weekends, it's a bit small.
