Food is always good at Xevichez the one in Sylmar too. I give this one 4 stars for the food ONLY service was pretty horrible.... Training needs to be done over at this place or the servers were new at it and they were very young people with littleexperience so idk pick one, still falls back on management. Had to ask two different people for the wasabi and ginger plus soysauce after the rolls and sushi was served, the baked ones were cool by then. My server went MIA for 20 minutes. The secondserver who I had asked for condiments a bit before looked at our drinks looked at us and walked away after asking if there wasanything we needed. Thought I was gonna get refilled 10 minutes later the hostess walking by for the 2nd time doing her jobasked if we needed a refill and brought them herself. Not sure what was up with the 2 servers it was a slow night in there withonly 4 couples other than us. Probably wasn't a real need for the music to be blasting like we were in the club on a Tuesday.The food is great though. But I'll probably just go to the one in Sylmar to blow my eardrums out with reggaeton mysic and betterservice kinda a little better not much, but like I said to me some of the best tasting consistent sushi I've had. Decided to have some lunch here because we love the sylmar location. It took us over 40 minutes to get some stir fry and 2... rolls? let?s not forget the fact that I had to ask 3 servers for some straws. Took way to long to even check up on guest withnot even a half full restaurant. Employees look dead inside no room for improvement maybe. Definitely will not be coming back tothis location im not sure how the service was just horrible. Read more

Really really really good food!!! It was not heavy or bloating food. The garlic edamame was on a slightly pricy side but it was... one of the best edamames I have ate, the sesame chicken was also very good and the sauce was good and had a kick to it! Thesushi was also very good! Read more

Today on Monday, July 11, 2022 around 12:00 AM I went to have lunch, I sat at the bar, I only had limited lunch break . It was... almost 30 minutes and Diego did not hesitate to ask me what I want to eat he did not even started making my sushi . I was veryupset and I asked that guy Diego the sushi maker. Is my food coming up ? and he said yes, yet it wasn't true because he hasn'teven started yet he lied . He was making other people's sushi first, even thought I came first . Diego overall had a badattitude .I told Veronica what happened and I asked her to give the check to pay the 2 beers and a miso soup that was my thirdtime been there with my siblings but I would not go there anymore because of him I did not have anything to eat all day I wasvery hungry . Stopped at this sushi spot for a early dinner. Ordered the Tiger Roll, Crunch roll. My girl friend ordered a roll of the Philly... roll. Both my rolls were amazing, however the Philly roll was different. It had some kind of salsa mixture in it. Soon as wetasted we knew something was off, we just couldn't put our finger on it. We thought that maybe it was the salsa. We didn'tfinish the roll, few hours later my girlfriend who ate most of the Philly roll was violently sick. Pretty much spent the in thebathroom.
