This is the restaurant the likes of which are rare in our town. Great food, amazing drinks, open, clean, simple yet... sophisticated, friendly and welcoming (no reservation-only nonsense). A beautiful family business with cheesecakes to die for!We should all be grateful and supportive. It’s so disappointing to read all the posts where people are whining about a 6%added tip to the bill. First of all, I think they are pretty upfront about that in their bill, and I actually really appreciatethe fact that they take care of their kitchen staff by setting aside a specific percentage of the tip for them. In restaurants,staff in the kitchen are usually at a disadvantage in that regard because they do not directly interact with customers. Second,I hope you were going to tip at least 6%! Food was really good. We had delicious cheesecake. However, I was disappointed that they automatically added a 6% kitchen... gratuity. Why not just pay your kitchen staff more? If you need to raise your prices, that’s fine, but at least be up frontabout what I’m paying when I’m ordering. This feels sneaky. Read more
My friend suggested I try Barceloneta while in Santa Cruz since I’m vegan and have a hard time finding good restaurants. I’m... so happy we went! It was sooooo yummy and the service was 5-star!! I had a great cocktail. I forget the exact name, but it wasthe bikini cocktail with carrot juice, orange juice, and cocktail. We tried a bunch of different dishes and every single one wasamazing! I highly recommend the Ibiza Hippy Salad and the veggie paella. Definitely if you’re vegan, you will love thisplace. Highly recommend! Read more
This place has the best seafood paella I've ever had!!! I usually take one bite and either get disappointed by the texture or... saltiness of paella at other restaurants, but here it is perfect!!! The rest of the food we ordered were also almost perfect???? I'd definitely recommend this place... and yea we had 2 pitchers of the sangria too... Service was also superb!!!!! Read more

Fantastic tapas and paella in a very nice but unpretentious setting in my favorite part of Santa Cruz. We enjoyed our vegan... paella and corn "ribs". Both were amazingly flavorful. They are open only for dinner. Read more
