We missed Hawaii and thought we'd give this chain a try as we'd seen it on the islands. The building is run down and dingy. The... posters inside are all faded. The appearance isn't very inviting, but I wouldn't care if the food were great. Unfortunately itwas mediocre at best. Skip L&L and head to Hulas or Pono Grill! Read more

L & L Hawaiian BBQ is delicious. I only order one thing, so I don’t know that everything is delicious, but can’t imagine it... would be bad. I get the healthy shrimp plate. It comes with garlic shrimp, brown rice, and a salad. They give you a lot ofshrimp and they are super flavorful. The dressing for the salad is super tasty as well. On occasion, I will get the lumpia whichis also excellent. Best to just call in the order to pick up. One of my favorite to go places. I know this is a chain and canbe found in other areas. Read more
Satisfied with great amount of meats. Also I love their soft drinks, Hawaiian Sun. Want to try every flavors in the future.
L&L has fair safety precautions, a menu that isn't bad, and the food was.. I'd say 7/10. That said, it's a solid choice if you... want something reliably satisfying, and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. If they get the funds for a refreshed look andsome better quality ingredients in the future, I could see them being a good 8/10 overall, but as they stand I would say theyare simply slightly above average.
