Pizza my Heart. This is my first time at this location in downtown Santa Cruz. It is very busy on a Saturday night. Most was for... take out as there was plenty of seating inside. This is some of my favorite pizza and certainly the best vegan pizza I?ve everhad. We got ours to go with a Vegan Big Sur and a Vegan Mount Diablo and two vegan cheese pizzas with gluten free crust for thekids. Everything was great. I would have a hard time deciding which was my favorite. The crust here helps make the pizza. Itried a slice of the gluten free crust and it was very good. Actually used to work here 20 years ago. I worked here for 3 and 1/2 years and ate their pizza every day of my life that I... worked there because it was so delicious. In truth I have never met it's equal. I took a friend home for the weekend and Ijust had to stop by to see how the old joint was doing. I was surprised to see that they had moved up the street to a muchlarger suite. It was still packed just like in the old days which was impressive to me. The decor was expanded to include somany cool old surfer culture pictures and pictures of old movie stars and just all kinds of neat stuff on the walls. I wasparticularly impressed with the very large sharks that they had hanging from the ceiling. I ordered a slice of pizza as did myfriends and oh my goodness the quality still holds up to the test of time!!! This is the pizza that you're looking for. Do notbe dissuaded by their prices for a large pizza because they're large pizza is extremely large compared to most places. Even justordering a slice of pizza by the slice will satisfy you. When are the pictures shows a picture of my hand and the slice so thatyou can appreciate the scale of how large this slice is. And you can see it is laden with high quality toppings. I'm glad to seethat they have held their integrity over the years and did not compromise any of their amazing flavors or ingredients. I can'twait to go home again and enjoy some more!! Read more

This is by far and away the best spot in all of Santa Cruz get Pizza. It might be one of the best places to order pizza in all... California. A very tasty piece of pizza and you can you get yourself a T-shirt and soda and everything come out to 11 bucks. Itdoesn?t get much better than that. This place has one of thee best pizza pie crust and dough I ever had. The toppings were awesome too.
