Tasty food, friendly service, good atmosphere, big portions. Ordered chicken biryani.

I've had a few things for dinner from here. Chicken Tikka kabob, Tikka masala, Chicken Byriani and the bread. We ordered for an... employee event. Most of my employees had never tried Indian food. Horrible service. You are the person waiting on them. Unless you yell and call them they just keep looking in other... directions. Worst customer service ever. Specially a guy looks like Nepalese or from around Nepal who works at counter. No manners at all.... Blames customers, food service drivers for his own mistakes. Very poor packaging of food. Plus puts many boxes in one plasticbag. Way to heavy to carry. Bags breaks and food is all over sometimes on road or in car. They are open for dine in from tomorrow, so had to takeout today. The Togo packing was not perfect so the food had spilled all... over by the time we got to the hotel. The food was delicious we all enjoyed eating it. We had asked them to make it spicy andit was deadly spicy and super yummy! They had forgotten to pack the veg pakoras we had ordered so make sure you check everythingbefore you take out. The food was ready within 15 minutes after we placed an order on phone. I ordered lamb vindaloo. Overall I am happy with the dish. Would give it 5 stars if the lamb is not over cooked. It’s pretty... tough and dry and possibly also a bit too salty. Considering Indian restaurant options are very limited here in Santa Cruz, Ithink it’s worth trying! Read more
