I went in today at 1pm all I did was ask if I can substitute a meat for a different meat, I asked "if you get turkey and ham and... if I don't want ham can I replace it for extra turkey?" She unprofessionally told me " I don't think we can do that" I wasextremely confused as to why a sandwich shop can't substitute my meat, because obviously you can, the worker was just uneducatedand poorly trained. Absolutely horrible experience. They hide in the back and don't know when a customer arrives. Lots of mistakes made making the... sandwiches, and when done it looks like it was stomped on. Read more

As others have said, this location isn?t run very well. It?s always hot inside? And prices are very high for what you get?... Better to go to Togo?s or Jersey Mike?s something else around. Read more

Horrible location. Out of all subways in Santa Cruz, this ones the most slacking. Last time I came here the employees were... watching videos on their phone laughing in the back, and after a half hour of asking to be helped and being told just a moment,they finally served me. But yet made my sandwich completely wrong then refused to remake it as they were back on their phones.Today I placed an online order since I only had a 30 min lunch, got there to find they were not only slacking again but my orderI placed 15 mins before my lunch wasn?t even done yet. Now I have 5 mins of my lunch left and it still isn?t made. If U want agood correctly made sandwhich within reasonable time, I would suggest any other subway in Santa Cruz. The mission st location,it?s just a waste of everybody?s time and money. And honestly the employees are just getting paid to ruin subways reputation.nowthat I?ve asked to speak with the manager to get a refund on food I never got they?re Asking me to leave, practically stealingmy money. Terrible location. I've been charged more than once on my credit card for the same sandwich. I've had many missing items, even... though the receipt lists everything correctly in print. Even if things are made correctly, it looks like they made it with theirfeet. Steer clear. Read more

So I hate posting negative reviews but this place just did it for me! I live just up the hill but I think I?m gonna go to a... different one from now on. This is the fifth time over the last month that I?ve come in and there?s been no one at the counterand I?ve waited 5 to 10 minutes for someone to arrive saying ?hello? so that someone could hear me. When someone unearththemself from the back, they snapped at me, treating me like I was an inconvenience. Plus it?s sweltering hot in there and it?shard to even tolerate it. Really rude employees. Unbelievable! Ordered online. They charged my card. When went for pickup, they said to wait and served... customers who arrived after me. When I got upset they refused to serve me and ruined my lunch plans. Did not give me sandwichthat I paid for!! Never go to this location. Terrible people. This happened @11.10am on 7/5/21. Very rude customer service. When i entered the store, nobody was there. Finally a lady came from behind the counter after I... waited for 5 mins and called 6-7 times. She also argued when i asked her to put little more onions, she said there is a rule onnumber of pieces of vegetables that can be added to a footlong (although not written anywhere) and said i can leave the storeif i don?t want. Quality was also very bad. Overall impression was they don?t want anyone to visit their store. Read more
