I know. Danny's? Fly to Santa Fe and post info about a Danny's? We had eaten great southwestern food all week. Needed something... basic. Had breakfast and it was great. Service was awesome. Especially when you consider the staff shortages. Can't give 5 starsfor atmosphere. It is a Danny's. Not exactly world famous for atmosphere. Read more

My experience at Denny's was not good. The food was not savory or flavorful. The hash browns were dry, the scrambled egg had... eggshells in them and the food was not hot. I realize that they are understaffed and maybe that was why I came awaydissatisfied. Read more

Horrible! I had to keep flagging down the server, my bacon was burnt to a almost black crisp, I showed our server and told him I... was very dissatisfied to be served Burt yo the crisp bacon, his reply was Most people like it that way ???? I don?t know oneperson that likes burnt bacon for one thing it?s very costly and we expect it to be cooked right I had to flag someone down torefill my coffee. To bad most Denny?s are usually good service plus good food I will recommend not going there???? Read more

I love Dennys. It's my go-to for a great meal that's not too harsh on the pockets. But lately the staff had been very rude. A... younger girl served us last time and she seemed very new to providing customer service, as her replies to requests made us feelthat we were a huge burden and annoying. I just hope it was that she was new and overwhelmed. We still left her a tip but it wasbarely 15%. And the time before that there was a thin gentleman that also treated us as if we were a nuisance. Thankfully he wasnot our waiter but he still managed to make us feel unwelcome. Now after saying that I do want to say that most of the time thestaff is extremely friendly and accommodating. It was just the last 2 times I've gone out of dozens of times going there. Mykids love the choices for them and my favorite are the strawberry crepes and the grand slam breakfast! Really delicious andworth every penny!! Read more

The food is great. The servers work really hard. However, it will take forever to get service. Doesn't matter what time you go... there. Do not show up hungry. This isn't a one time thing either. It is every single time. Read more

Our worst experience at a Denny's restaurant everywhere. First problem: They don't respect the menu offers (fraud) about refill... in some beverages. Second problem: Chicken boneless were very raw (something very serious for people's health) and the managerdidn't want to do anything about it, he never apologized, never replaced the dish or offered a decent solution to the problem,as any good quality restaurant, he simply said (trough the waitress) "we're gonna check the temperatures" but the dish wascharged. Third problem: they replaced the check for other customer check (maybe to cover evidence in case of a legal problem forthe service, so it says much about the manager once again). Fourth problem: the place is full of homeless people in the parkinglot, we were very uncomfortable watching over the car, they were injecting heroine and getting drugged at the sight of everyone. The only positive thing was the attitude of the waitress, she tried to do her best. Bathroom has a code to enter so I?m suspicious. It?s pretty shabby. Dinner tables are sticky so I?m even more worried. But our... server was super! Our baby was fussy and she brought some fish crackers and grapes right away. Crisis averted. She took care ofeverything. So nice to see a server go the extra mile. The food was great too. My wife has a sirloin and I had the Slamwichwith pancakes. Way too much to eat. I just finished my leftovers. Still great Hopefully they can fix the broken shabby bathroomand shine the place up a bit. Read more

I suppose the first red flag would be that the restaurant was nearly empty at a 7 pm on a Friday. The second red flag was... certainly the smell of... human effluence in the entryway to the restaurant. A dirty napkin wrapping a utensil on the tableshould have really been the cue to beat cheeks to another dinner location. Alas, we prevailed and were as exactly asdisappointed as I figured we'd be. Now, I'll say that my special order burger with a chicken breast instead of beef wasactually pretty good. It was made right and hot, and the fries were fresh and seasoned well. Everyone else's dinner orderswere a bit of a mess. One dining companion got the Chik 'n' Honey sandwich and said it was bland and over saturated with sauce. Diner the third ordered an appetizer sampler got the wrong items on the plate. She was able to get one item subbed out with noissue but the fries that should have been on the platter were still missing. Drinks were served without straws and theappetizer was missing a dipping sauce. We never get the straws and had to ask twice for the sauce before it finally showedup. It seems like the kitchen is turning out at least decent food, but the sullen server who had our section seemed he'd ratherbe anywhere but here. At least the other two working other parts of the dining room seemed to care about their jobs and evenchecked on us a few times. Maybe this is par for the course for Denny's, but it seemed like a real bottom of the barrelexperience in a town that deserves better, even if it's "just a chain diner"... Read more
