We went here after spending a day in Santa Fe hoping to get a good dinner. The staff was extremely friendly. Unfortunately,... given the prices, the food is quite average and the amount is small. We ordered some special lamb for 50 dollars but the sizewas that of an appetizer. Other dishes were nothing special. Given the many excellent options in Santa Fe, I don't recommendthis place. Estevan is a hidden gem! My husband and I were searching for a lovey dining experience in Santa Fe at the last moment and we... found it. The beautiful patio was humming with exquisite dishes. The arugula salad special was the most robust arugula I haveever had paired perfectly with goat cheese and a walnut based vinaigrette. I have never tasted the peppery arugula so vividly,just outstanding. The Rainbow trout was cooked to perfection with a light wine and garlic sauce. It melted in my mouth. Ourwaiter was Aram and he topped off our dining experience by recommending a beautiful Spanish Albariño that paired perfectly withboth of our dishes. He was well educated regarding the menu and really enhanced our dining experience. We highly recommendgiving Estevan a chance. The chef was on the floor engaging with all of his diners and sharing his enthusiasm for his culinarycreations. It was an absolute pleasure! Read more
I used to live in SF 20 years ago, I’m a graduate of College of Santa. I just moved back from living in China for the past... five years. My parents came visit me and I took them to Estevan’s. This was the ultimate dining experience. The culture and vibe are second to none! Wait staff was excellent and worked as a... team! The food is world class and the best in Santa Fe! Chef Estevan is there over seeing every plate and experience.
