This is probably the highest 5 rating of any restaurant I have ever done. The place is absolutely amazing! I enjoyed a bottle of... NA Heineken. Prefect weather of 85 degree, it was amazing.. There was a 20 minite wait but the hostess was extremely friendly.We walked around and took some photos and used the restrooms. Once seated outside in a courtyard, servers brought house madechips salsa, and guacamole. Server didn't rush us and allowed us to chat some before ordering. We split the fajitas and it wassooo good. First time here. Lovely setting with indoor and outdoor seating. The food was very good. I got the crab enchilada plate. The... plate comes with corn and black beans. I prefer calabacitas instead but this would have been an extra $7!! That is aridiculously expense substitution cost for a side. The service was mostly good except they didn't bring us the extra sour creamwe asked for and we had to ask for water refills. Read more
What a great meal! Upon seating the waiter asked if we wanted table side guac and we said yes without hesitation. Even tho $13... it is worth it and fun to watch them make it! We split a 3 meat fajitas combo of steak, chicken and shrimp. It was all verytasty and more than enough for 2. The tortillas are made on the spot so very fresh. I love restaurants with patios, and coming back from Nambe waterfalls with my dog. Gabriel’s was the perfect place to make a... stop to eat. Beautiful patio, kind people, Delicious food and Pet friendly. I definitely going back to this beautiful place! Read more
Great guacamole - the effort, presentation, and fresh flavor are always flawless! Good chips and salsa as well. We were... thinking about ordering other menu items yet, unfortunately, it was clear from entry that they were short-staffed.. Our waiterhad several tables he was servicing and he was literally running at times to keep up. He managed to get to our table once every10-15 minutes, which made getting drinks, refills, and the check take a really long time. Good food, yet a poor experienceoverall. Read more
So… I feel torn over this review because I classify myself as a good judge of menu items and normally order well Not so at... Gabriel’s It’s partially my fault that I ordered crab enchiladas in Santa Fe in the first place but I was intrigued.Unfortunately they were way fishy past the point of being bearable and I’m not convinced it was all crab, if so it was a lotof it and not great! Texture was also strange Im from Texas so I’m picky about my chips and salsa, the chips and salsa herewere okay. BUT the Tres Leches is delicious so here’s to ending on a high note! This restaurant is exactly what we were looking for. Food from "old Mexico" (as they advertise it), and it's no lie. Authentic,... big portions and very friendly staff!! We recommend this place! It’s about 15 minutes north of the Santa Fe Plaza. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Menu was... great. They’ll make guacamole ???? fresh, right in front of you. We had the crab ???? enchiladas and green chile ???? chickenenchiladas. The chips and salsa and sopapillas with ???? honey were really good too. Nice atmosphere. Cool place.
