This place is a life saver. Recently got hit by COVID and was looking for some caldos. Surprisingly difficult to find soups on... delivery apps, but La Cocina de Doña Clara came through. Ordered Caldo de Pollo daily for about a week. The salsa that comewith the soup is excellent. I need to go there to try their other food. Read more

Place is very hit and miss. Some of the entrees are good, but their chicharrónes are boiled, not fried, so they taste entirely... raw. They don't prepare things the way more restaurants do, so you may run into surprises like that. Read more

Had a great breakfast. The staff was very friendly and made sure that we were taken care of. Will definitely go again.

I ordered the caldo de pollo and it was just OK. The service was quick and the cashier was very friendly. Overall, I will... probably give this place another try, but order something different. Read more

Overall a great experience. It is true not everyone speaks English there. They get everything in your order correct. They also... make excellent food. The barbacoa tacos are awesome. The menudo is also very good. They give 3 different types of salsa with theorder and have cilantro, lime, and onions with the order. They even give grilled onions. Wait times "to go" is very quick . Ireally recommend this restaurant. Enjoy your meal. :) Read more

Dirty restaurant, minimal English speaking by staff,a long wait for menus and a long wait for food. We ordered tacos. They were... ok. We asked for the check and waited a long time again, it never came. At the register we were over charged by at least $10.00.I will never go back. I did not feel welcome, just tolerated. Read more

We met Doña Clara and her son. The food was great: we had menudo, 4 beef tacos, and an horchata drink. The menudo had the... right balance of tripe, hominy, and broth and it came with three little containers with chopped onions, oregano, and dried redpeppers and also half a lime. It was barely spicy, perfect for me, but they also give you red or green chile sauce. The tacoswere also very good. All for $21.58. Read more

Menudo was very flavorful but could’ve been spicier. The flautas de res were very tasty but rice was dry and beans were okay.
