Classic steakhouse with a great atmosphere and 5 Star quality cuisine. I hesitate to order lobster in restaurants that I'm not... familiar with, this was my first time eating here, but after talking with our server, she convinced me to order it. Mostrestaurants either under cook it or over cook it until rubbery. It was perfect, fully cooked and tender as can be. My wife'ssteak also was perfect as were all the side dishes we ordered. This is a must dine at if you're in town Read more

A couple of weeks ago I had an amazing meal at The Bull Ring. The food was excellent and the staff were all outstanding. I had... the same experience in September that I had over 30 years ago. At the time I had a jaw problem and wasn't able to chew food, Ihad to basically gum it! I was with my sister who wanted to eat something besides pasta, (which was easier for me to manage toeat). The staff and chef at The Bull Ring offered to ground up a steak and made me the best hamburger I ever had! I will neverforget how willing they were to accommodate me and how kind they were. I will always eat here anytime I am in Sante Fe. Themanager I talked with about my past experience, (Lisa), was especially kind to me when I told her what her staff had done for methe first time I was there. Wonderful establishment!!! Read more

First. When dining solo it’s not always a good experience. Everyone always just wants to sit you at the bar. I called in... advance about dining and the bartender was so friendly that I could’ve talked to her for 20 minutes lol. When I arrived thehostess who I think was actually the manager or owner was extremely friendly even though I said I only had one in my party. myserver Sarah was amazing even though she had many tables working. The food was phenomenal. I’ve been in Santa Fe for a weekand this was the best food and service I got all week. Highly recommend! I am a chef and I got a lot of sides and sampledeverything. It was all amazing. Read more

Was very excited to dine here and was left feeling mediocre. The location and staff are very nice. The appetizers were not a... good start as they were greasy/oily and not crisp. The aioli with the onion strings was phenomenal. The food delivery timing wasway off as it was 54 minutes from appetizers to main course. We were just at the point of leaving when our steaks came out. Thesteak was cooked perfectly but lacked flavor. The sides were very large and tasty. The desert we chose was the pecan pie andthat was off the charts! Highly recommend the pecan pie.....that is one of my favorites and this one ranks with the best. Thecoffee was good but I would suggest a better coffee cup.....I know this is something petty but at such an establishment it wasodd to get coffee in a thick ceramic mug reminiscent of a truck stop diner. Overall I have to say my expectations were muchhigher and I left feeling a bit let down. I did.not feel a WOW factor......with the exception of the pecan pie!!!! Read more

Food was great lady who sat us down was nice verbally, however her face said we did not belong there we were more dressed... casually so I understand that so she sat us in the back nice and hidden next to the well dressed Indians only fitting sinceeveryone was white in the restaurant. She asked if we had a reservation we didn't she seemed hesitant to even sit us down. Butbesides that nice place. I love the guessing game of market price on the menu for the more desirable products. Jk when it's 11for a potato or up for any side however they were enough on the amount of the side for two. Read more

Sat at the bar and the three of us had an amazing meal. We ordered off the bar menu and tried both amazing chili’s, green and... red. We shared the fried chicken basket and the prime rib sandwich. We also tried the cajun shrimp. These paired perfectly withthe best mezcal margarita I’ve ever had. Highly recommend! Read more

They deserve The Reporter's 2021 top award. In my opinion it's the real deal, an authentic 'local joint' that attracts regulars ... every day & night. This Ring hits the Bullseye! Classic steakhouse meat/ salad entrees are perfectly presented and delicious.Customary to Santa Fe, side dishes cost extra, but it's worth the price of admission. We sat at the bar 30 minutes beforeclosing time for food & drinks, and were warmly welcomed. The restaurant and the bar was still pretty full, yet no one feltrushed even after closing hour. You are among friends here. Sarah, our server was very sweet and efficient despite juggling somany tables. The GM, could have hurried us out, but rather she pleasantly socialized with us customers. She shared some storiesfrom their 30 year history. The enclosed front patio is delightful, dining room elegant and the original bar is their staple. The Bull Ring loves their patrons so much, that in one case there hangs, in tribute a hat, coat & scarf above a corner table ofan old regular who is dearly missed. As we enjoyed our pecan pie ala mode, our server surprised the elderly couple, celebratingtheir anniversary a slice on the house. Come for the food, and enjoy the welcome. Read more
