The Wrap is located at 113 E. Water Street #102, Santa Fe, NM 87501. It is on the back side of the Santa Fe Plaza next to the 5... and dime general store. My wife and I decided to find a place to have a fresh lunch made from scratch and this was just theplace. Its small and cozy. We had the opportunity to speak with Sean and JE, the owners, who were very outgoing and welcoming. We had great conversations with them and exchanged info, since we recently moved back to the area. The store used to be owned byJE?s mother and she ran a sushi shop, so when Sean and JE bought it from her mother, they rolled (no pun intended) some of herrecipes and menu items over to the new concept. From what I hear the ?Fire ramen noodle soup? is a favorite amongst guests. Theyhave great selections of wraps, sandwiches, paninis, salads, rice bowls and smoothies, with a few specialties sprinkled in. Idecided on a Southwest wrap with chicken, green chile, avocado, onion, bell pepper, lettuce, pepperjack cheese and spicy mayo.It was wrapped perfectly and as fresh as you could expect. I didn?t taste the green chile too much, it was very subtle, but theoverall flavors were great. My wife got the turkey panini which consisted of turkey, bacon, basil, sun dried tomato, provolonecheese and pesto?WOW, this panini was delicious! It was very large, bigger than my wrap, but the flavors exploded. The pesto hadsuch an authentic home made flavor! Highly recommended for a fresh made to order lunch sandwich. We also got one order ofcrinkle cut fries to share and they were seasoned nicely with salt, not too much, and they were hot and crispy fried to order. We didn?t try and of the smoothies or specialty drinks because we were walking around the plaza and wanted to stay light, but wewill next time. There are only about 14-18 seats available so on a busy day, you might have to order and enjoy it on a plazabench in the park out front, but no complaints there, its a very nice setting. Overall, it was a Read more

They have JUST changed over to a wrap/sandwich format, so be prepared to be a little patient since they are adapting to a new... menu. However, it?ll be worth the extra few minutes of waiting. Everything is made to order with super fresh ingredients and allof our food came out GREAT. Owner is super friendly and was careful making sure we got exactly what we wanted. Highly recommend! Thoroughly enjoyed our meal at fortune Maki! The dumplings were delicate and delightful and the ramen really hit the spot. The... owner is sweet as can be and made sure we had a great experience. (The singing of Eric Claptons ?you look wonderful tonight?from the kitchen was actually really charming! Again, the staff is wonderful!) Read more

First let?s talk about how BEAUTIFUL this place is! This place is so beautiful and has it own charm and the owner and her staff... are so welcoming and nice! The staff itself made me fall in love with this place!! The food came out quickly after we orderedand everything was made fresh! The food, wow, the food was beyond amazing. The sushi was the biggest sushi I?ve ever had. I lovethat they fill it up unlike some place?s where you get a smidge and then it?s mainly rice, definitely not here! We also had theRamen and dumplings ugh! They were so savory even thinking about it now it?s making me hungry for more! I would 100% recommendit, and we?re definitely coming back! If the rest of their food is like this, then I need to try everything else in there! Read more

If you?re contemplating going to this restaurant, don?t, JUST GO. This place should have a line out the door always that?s how... good it is. Growing up in an Asian home I?m pretty picky about Asian food and this wonton soup is top 2 I?ve ever had. The fishin the rolls are SO fresh and the dumplings taste homemade and authentic. All the salmon in the rolls is smoked and has a uniquetasty flavor. Not to mention the owner is the NICEST, hardest working and funniest woman I?ve met in a long time. Go supportthis small business if you?re looking for a delicious meal and memorable service! They also have this cool seating area by thewindow like traditional Japanese sushi houses, great ambiance touch. Highly recommend! Read more

Very satisfying experience. Hard to believe that some of the recent, negative reviewers went to the same restaurant. Yes, a... mother and daughter are struggling during these times to make a go of it, and they are succeeding in providing a comfortable andwelcoming dining experience. My 13yo son had the Fire Ramen with chicken, and it was great. Spicy (as advertised, and you canhave it milder), but not overwhelming. He ate it all ? ravenously. We had sushi rolls that were very tasty and satisfying. Yes, it could have been even better if they could have the help and customer base to maintain fresh salmon, but in these times,I can hardly fault them for substituting smoked salmon under the circumstances. Also, had Inari Nigiri (pictured) that wasfresh and delightful. The pork bun was a very good appetizer. (Should have ordered two, but then would not have been able tofinish the two large sushi rolls, which were excellent.) Very good value and very good experience. Hope they continue tosurvive and to provide excellent meals with personal service. Read more

I never heard about this place before, but my girlfriend and I were walking around the Plaza and we stumbled upon this place. As... soon as I walked in, the atmosphere of good vibes just hits you. They even have an area where you take your shoes off and youcan sit and eat at a table, just like they do in Japan. The service here is amazing and they are very friendly and treats youlike family. The miso soup is really great and tasty and makes you want more. And the spicy Cali roll is so spicy but so good. And the dragon roll is on another level of goodness. If you?re ever in Santa Fe this is the place where you should go if you?recraving some sushi or soup or fried rice Read more
