Absolutely delicious! If you haven?t tried Yamas in Santa Fe, you are missing out on some seriously delicious meals! The... ingredients are super fresh, the gyros are the best I?ve ever had, the tzatziki sauce out of this world, and their menuextensive. The fries with the feta and light seasoning are perfect! Service staff is very knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming.It is very clear the owner cares about the quality of the food and the atmosphere of the establishment. The food was delicious. I ordered the lamb gyro with the Greek fries and a side salad and everything was so flavorful and well... seasoned. The fries were perfectly crispy and the gyro was stuffed in such a way that you were able to get all of theingredients in every bite. The restaurant was clean and the decor was lovely. Absolutely love this place! This was something SF was so in need of, good Greek food. After living on big cities and being able... to ding food fresh Greek food, this was definitely something that was missing here. The place is delicious. You can tell theyuse the best freshest ingredients and there is thought and care put into every dish. We have probably eaten here 20+ times andhave only had good experience. I highly recommend the Gyro, the pulled chicken plate and the zucchini fries are insanely delish.We also do take out from here and the food is always perfect when we get home. Quality food, chicken was tender and well seasoned, lamb had a couple fatty bits but otherwise it was delicious. Salad was very... fresh and had the biggest capers I've ever seen. I personally was not a fan of the falafel texture but I think it was personalpreference because everyone else loved them. The food was up fast, the server/cashier was polite. We'll be back! Read more
Flavorful, Authentic, and Delicious! I can never recommend this place enough. The owner is amazing at addressing any questions... you have and making sure they come around and check on you. I wonder about the freshness of the Gyro meat, however its flavor isamazing! Read more
The Gyro (Athenian) and rotisserie chicken we really good. Also, the fries were sooooo crispy, we got the plain ones just... because we are not fans of capers otherwise we would have tried the Greek style. The service was also great, everyone was sonice and the prices were reasonable. We also had baklava which is why this is a 4, not 5 start review. The baklava was a bitstale and underwhelming for the price. Other than that everything else was great, we will be going back. Read more
It doesn?t look like much from the outside, but Yamas Greek Rotisserie has good Greek food, decent size plates, and a reasonable... rice! The employees were also friendly and the service, excellent. The only reason I didn?t give five stars was because of thegyro meat. Let me preface this by saying the meat had excellent flavor and I?d get it again in a heartbeat. However, I don?tthink it came fresh off the lamb shank, I think they were probably from a package and pan seared prior to serving. The sliceshad a uniform size and both sides of the meat were browned. Again, the meat was still delicious and I?d get it again, but aGreek restaurant should serve their gyros meat fresh off the bone! Really friendly and accommodating staff. The restaurant interior is warm and inviting. Indoor and outdoor patio seating (picnic... tables and stools). Can seat small and large parties inside. All the Greek staples are present on the menu. Parking is somewhatlimited directly beside the restaurant but there are other spots close by. Great place for lunch and dinner. Read more
