We had a party of 12 on Thursday evening 8/25/2022. Our server JJ was awesome. She was polite, efficient and very attentive. We... all ordered drinks and one combo Nacho as an appetizer. This one Nacho was large enough for us all to enjoy and some of us evenhad a second serving. It was delicious and had a very generous serving of chicken and steak. All of our food was excellent,large portions and what each of us ordered was cooked to perfection. We brought in two cakes to celebrate two birthdays, theserver gave us the option to cut and serve our cakes or she provide the service for the customary fee. I opted to cut and servewhich I preferred and was prepared for. They provided plates and forks. Kudos to all involved in this successful dinnercelebration. This place is exactly what you would expect from a steakhouse on the central coast. Putting aside the dusty decor hidden by the... dim lighting, the place is ok. The food is tasty, and while some of the staff can be a little curt; most of the waitstaff aremore than happy to work around special requests. I don't eat here as much as I use to, but when I do its never a terribleexperience. Read more
The staff is awesome. Otherwise this would be a one star review. Went with a big party for a bday. Not one of the 5 steaks was... cooked right. The ones ordered medium came out rare and ones ordered rare, or medium rare, came out medium to medium well. Ribswere shared by many and all noted they had a weird chemical after taste. They weren?t great otherwise. Prime rib was good.Fillets were okay. The rib eye cuts they use are just low quality and you can buy a better one at the grocery store with youreyes closed. Cool hand Luke?s is a place I?ve wanted too try only because of the movie. The food was really good the staff didn?t waste time... greeting us and getting our orders in steak bites were a little over cooked wanted medium kind of hard because they?re served ona hot skillet lobster Mac and cheese was pretty good and my co worker enjoyed his prime Rib definitely worth stopping by. Very nice food and lots of it. Tri-Tip up to scratch and Prime Dip toothsome and tasty. Seafood offerings were actually very... well done and attractively plated. Extensive drinks list and appropriate wine menu. Service above average. Read more
Food was ok for the price I ordered the cool hand combo steak and shrimp. Steak was medium well I ordered medium but just... figured it came out that way because of how long it took to get to me I did eat at the bar The server was nice but seemed likeshe was ready to go home as soon as we got there Not complaining but just wanted to let you know. all and all it's a 3 starsteakhouse with 2 star steak guess next time I will have to get the good steaks.
