We ate at Ricky?s House of Pizza (RHOP) last night and tried the chili Verde pizza which was the Tuesday special and their house... salad?. Here?s our review.. I think they have one of the best crusts around, it?s crispy outside and soft inside to help withthe stability so you can pick up a slice without losing your toppings?, It?s got great flavor so you won?t have any crust leftover. The pizza was incredible, flavorful without being too rich, it was the perfect combination of savory with a touch of heatbut not spicy. The pork verde was homemade and I could?ve eaten it by the bowl. The boys loved it and went in for a secondpiece. I crave their salads, they use leaf lettuce (never the bagged stuff) and all of their toppings are chopped fresh everydayso they?re super crisp and fresh and the toppings are generous. RHOP have new owners and are switching a few things up andadding a lot. Their offering specialty pizzas on Tuesdays and she?s got a few other things she?s working on that I?m veryexcited about. They?ve also acquired a beer and wine license so soon you can go in eat great food you won?t find anywhere else,have a few drinks and watch sports on there big TVS. ?
