Blue plate taco is a great place to eat if you want to stay on the ocean front and enjoy the view. Ordered the fish tacos with... beans and rice. The tacos were cooked too much and had a lot of batter around the fish. The beans were surprisingly prettygood. The service was pretty bad, I’m not going to lie. Our server barely came by to check up on us so we asked the nearbyserver to wait on us instead. I felt bad because he was waiting on every other table on the patio as it was very busy but he wasnothing short of amazing. Read more
The wait time was worth it!! Get the grilled red snapper tacos and thank me later! They do add alot of slaw but it's so fresh... and is a great palate cleanser in between bites! Shrimp taco was very delicious. Tasted fresh. Nicely seasoned. I just wish i had 3 pieces of shrimp instead of 2 otherwise... 4/5. Drinks were good priced and pretty strong 4/5 Service was nice and staff was friendly. Beautiful restaurant with outdoor seating just opposite to Santa Monica beach ???? food was yummy and hot , we had chicken... fajita , cheese quesadilla and lemonade . Service was quick and forgot the name of the person who brought us food he wasfriendly and polite . Salsa was yum ????. Read more
We came to Blue Plate Taco for lunch in the late afternoon. It was pretty busy but we still got a nice outdoor table with a good... view of the street, the pier, and the beach area. All of the staff was very friendly to interact with. We ordered the shrimptacos and the baja style fish tacos, both of which we chose to come with rice and slaw. I also ordered a pineapple agua fresca.Everything was really delicious and really hit the spot after a day of walking around. The tacos especially were very tasty. Read more
Our party came on a Wednesday night. We sat on the patio. Waiter was extremely nice. The food came out quickly, but was on the... cooler side of Luke warm. The presentation was beautiful, but the food was very bland and flavorless. Our bill was $170 for 3person. It was overpriced and not worth $50. I would NOT suggest this establishment to anyone who was looking for a deliciousmeal. We will not be back. I gave one star simply for the waiter, because he was awesome…. Read more
