Our absolute favorite spot in Santa Monica. Incredible food served by the friendliest staff in a non pretentious environment.... You can't go wrong with any of the wines they've paired up with the food either. It's always the best experience and my onlycomplaint is that it's too hard to not order everything on the menu! Incredible, simple food that's insanely well done. The simplicity makes it epic. The olive oil, oddly, an unexpected element... that turns the food from amazing to brilliant. Great wine selection, be ready to spend 60-80/bottle but it's all amazing wineand their sommelier is super cool. I'd recommend this place to everyone I know, unless they hate (or are allergic to) fish Read more

An amazing meal - wonderfully fresh seafood with great presentations and complementary flavors. We would totally do the... Neptune's Table (chef's choices, all pictured) again, we added the oysters on top. Read more

The dishes are inventive & yummy and the fish is super fresh, but the ambiance + overall dining experience isn't commensurate... with the price. For example, some of our dishes came on disposable plates, water was self serve, and you have to go through thekitchen to get to the bathroom. Wait staff also milled around the outdoor area and was shooing out patrons from otherrestaurants sitting on their patio during our meal. If you don't mind that kind of stuff and just want some good food -- thisis your place. Must gets: Orange Crudo and the Tuna Toast Skips: Noodles and bread side Read more

Fine and great flavour food. Everything we tried was excellent and felt fresh. The wine pairing we took accompanied the food... very well. Service was nice, although ordering at the counter is at odds with the food quality. Paper plates are a really poorchoice for the price and amazing food. This makes no sense to me; it kills the experience and distract from the presentation andgreat flavor you experience when dining there. Overal, fantastic food and good service that is detrimentally tackled by paperplates. Read more

The food was amazing! I ordered the tuna tartare toast. The bread had great texture, and crisp to perfection. Olive oil was not... overpowering, but contributed sufficiently to the flavor. And the tartare - one of the best I've tasted! I was told the menuchanges depending on what ingredients they can obtain fresh. I will definitely be coming back to try the other items on the menuas everything seems appropriately priced for seafood and the location. The staff were really friendly, and helpful as well. Icalled ahead to ask if I needed a reservation, but didn't need one since I was dining solo. They loved my dog, who kept mecompany while I was eating, and treated him with much love! Read more

We made a late lunch reservation about an hour before arriving and got a table. Delicious Hamachi crudo, could have used more... sweet citrus flavor. The caviar nachos were so savory and all the flavors went well together. The tuna tartar was amazing aswell. Very pricey as other have mentioned but service was excellent and everyone was very friendly. Read more

We popped in without a reservation on a busy night with minimal hopes of getting a spot but we were able to eat at the bar top... outside no problem. They had a set menu due to being a holiday, which worked great for us, we LOVE share plates and trying newthings. The food was so good, I’m genuinely blown away for how good each and every dish was and can’t wait to go back. Thechef and his partner were super attentive and involved, they came out to check on us personally. The environment was great, goodwine, lovely music, great food- you can tell they care a lot about quality. Read more
