Amazing old fashioned diner with great food, reasonable prices and friendly staff
I saw on Google Maps that George?s was not as busy as normal. I saw that they have Pastrami Chili Cheese Fries. I found easy... parking and a free table. I ordered it as a combo with a drink. I asked for Crispy fries and grilled onions. The portion wasenormous and I was only able to eat 1/4th of it. Loved the grilled onions, good cheese, good meaty chili but they didn?t give mecrispy fries, just soft, limp fries. I still really enjoyed it. The price was very reasonable for the size of the order. Had the pastrami meal.. it comes with french fries AND onion rings.. so good!!! The portions are big enough to share and still... have your hunger satisfied. The biggest plus is the sweet young lady at register and the cooks! They are so accommodating andsweet! They make sure you are satisfied and in a timely manner! Will visit again! Read more
It was very average American breakfast. Reasonable price and big portions. I have had better at diners, but it still tasted good... and it was a lot less expensive. Kitchen staff were kind and friendly and I felt welcomed here. Good place to stop if you'rehungry and just need some decent food. I ordered French toast combo which came with eggs bacon syrup and butter all for under$10. Can't beat a price like that! Read more
This place is really good it?s kind of in a weird spot next to a self serve car wash. But the food and portion size is pretty... good and wasn?t what I expected. The burger had good flavor and the portion size of half onion rings and have zucchini wascrazy big. Even though it?s in kind of a dirty part of town the inside was really really clean again wasn?t what I wasexpecting. Seems like a cool family run place I hope they stay in business Read more
Very friendly staff and fast service. The Charbroiled burger is really good. Self service soda fountain. During peak hours... parking may be a little challenging. Inside dining area well lit so you can catch up on your reading. 11/15/21 booths now havedividers between them. Also I watched bums come in to fill their soda cups and ask for your left overs while you eat. Read more
Easy to order, relatively low price and portions are big enough. And they have fountain drinks where you can get Dr. Pepper even... though the cups advertise Pepsi. Though burgers are like burgers, not much difference from average burgers. Even with bacon andavocado added. Maybe the restaurant has other menu items, but it has the word burgers in its name, I rate the restaurant by itsburgers. Read more
Super good comfort food at more than a reasonable price. Been coming here for years and it never disappoints. I love the chili... cheese omelette with a Chile asado on the side. Coffee is piping hot and the food is hot! Read more
