The shrimp and noodle bento box was pretty good. I would rather get the chicken instead.

This is not really located at Santa Monica Pier, but rather at a food court in a mall about a block away. We tried the Teriyaki... beef and chicken with vegetables. Both had good portions - you won?t walk away hungry. As far as taste goes, we?ve been to otherJapanese grills and this one ranks lower. While the sauce looks good, it tastes watered down. The rice was slightlyundercooked/harder - half of us liked it this way over softer/soggier. There is no organization of orders - styrofoamcontainers are placed side by side with no tickets beside them. It was busy and we had to guess who?s order was next - theperson behind us asked if his order was in front of ours which seemed odd, but it actually was. Our order took about 15 minutes- something to expect since they cook the food in front of you. In any case, I would eat here again because the price was rightand it seems like a healthier alternative to burgers and fries, even if the speed of service or food taste isn?t spectacular. Read more

If you want a pile of feces in top of rice this is the place to go. I came here early lunch today at 10:40 a.m. and nothing was... ready. They served me chicken that was sitting on the corner of the grill for awhile and the food temperature was luke warm,the servers luke at you like they are judging you. And the cost for that pile of feces with an overly seeet soda, $11.00 notwoth the price. Read more

Good for quick meal if you are near the beach, nothing else...

Nice cheap lunch I had here. $5.99 chicken teriyaki with steamed rice and veggie. The service is bad though. I couldn't hear... what the guy say and he was a bit annoyed. He threw the bento box to the next person too like my food wasn't respected. Read more
