Crawled in here after an 11 hour flight like some sort of tired goblin and was fully rejuvenated by delicious food and great... service. The vegan food here is so flavourful and feels genuinely nourishing. Cocktails are excellent too. True Food is a solid, bankable chain of healthy restaurants that you cannot go wrong with. Regular go-to when you want something... vegan, tasty and satisfying This is a location smack dab in the middle of the Santa Monica shopping and eating district. Lotsand lots of outdoor and indoor seating although I’d recommend not sitting right by the door because the door is left open althe time and it gets hot! The customer service is great and every team member has a great attitude and love to be of service.They also make great recommendations if you are a little indecisive on what to get. Steve is one of the mangers at True, he isvery personable and makes sure his customers get a great dine-in experience at True Food Kitchen. This is the second time I've eaten here and have enjoyed my experience. The restuarant is cozy, decorated like a hip cafe; with... an open kitchen (which I always love). The staff is friendly and the atmosphere pleasant. My boyfriend and I both enjoyeddifferent bowls. They were tasty, though I have two comments. First it could have used a bit more seasoning (but I do enjoy myfood more heavily flavored); and second, I was expecting the meat to be seared and then sliced but it appeared as if it waspresliced and then cooked. I make this comment because we had both asked our steak to be cooked med-rare; and had we beenexplained that the meat is not cooked that way, we would have ordered slightly differently. I had an excellent experience here on a Monday night. They have great options for all sorts of diets, including amazing vegan... options. The corn soup was delicious and the spinach and mushroom pizza was very tasty. The vegan cheese on the pizza was greatas well, it did not over power the pizza at all as vegan cheese can do at times. I was a little let down by the vegan strawberrycheesecake, however I have yet to find a great vegan cheesecake anywhere else either. I will be back!! Read more

Charred Cauliflower, Organic Tuscan Kale Salad and a Vegan Double Cheeseburger. Charred Cauliflower - It was decent. Would rate3/5 Organic Tuscan Kale Salad- 4/5. It was yum. I chose to eat salad over burger and I didn't regret my decision. Vegan DoubleCheeseburger -4/5 It was scrumptious. It was served with side of sweet potato hash. Nice experience having dinner here. The food was served hot and the service was good, but it took more than 20 minutes to serve... dessert. Sea Bass dish was delicious as was the pizza, though it was smaller than expected! The burger wasn’t a good onebecause it was dry, needed some sauce and it lacked flavor. Read more

They have such a great... selection of items for all preferences and none of it feels like an after thought. Finally tried and fell in love with theveggie burger.
