I often like really authentic Italian over tradition. With that said this is such a cute neighborhood place that it is worth a... little drive for me to come to this relaxed but classic atmosphere. Tried several of the pastas. All winners including the muchraved about meatballs. Read more

Sadly, the food and service is not what it once was. Chicken was dry and tough and overcooked. Pasta was the opposite. If you... like al dente pasta, it's cooked just about right. If you don't, then make sure they cook it longer. When my date sent back thechicken, the waiter was rude and delighted dismissive. I've liked this place for a long time but sadly I'm not in a hurry to goback anytime soon. Hopefully, they will figure it out. Read more

From the moment we were greeted by the kind smile of the Maitre D to the moment we paid the very affordable bill, my wife and I... felt like we had found the gem of Santa Monica - in terms of Italian restaurants. The old school vibe was a great setting forwhat was to come. The pasta was cooked to perfection and the flavors were spectacular. We shared a salad caprese and thebuffalo mozzarella and tomatoes were amazing. I had the best lasagna ever and my wife enjoyed a pink sauced fettuccine withpeas and mushrooms. We didn’t stop there, a couple cappuccinos and a ridiculous flowerless chocolate cake topped with icecream made the meal complete. We walked out full to the gills and sated. Cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. Bring asweater though. It was chilly. Read more

I ordered a Cesar salad and penne primavera. The Cesar came with vinaigrette and barely any parmigiana. The penne also... didn’t come with parmigiana and was mediocre. When I called the restaurant they said I could come pick up Caesar dressing ifI wanted to. I paid $45 to order this and have it delivered… I feel like that’s a lot for one person. I was really lookingforward to having a nice meal at the end of the day. I won’t be ordering from here again. Read more

The pasta was so good, while cioppino will be perfect if there were h some fish (there were a little toomany mussels-not portionately) We also ordered an espresso shot ???????? Read more
