Amazing place overall. We arrived before a reservation and we were greeted at the bar where we waited and had water and a... coffee. The bartender being the only one on shift that night was amazing at multitasking between making drinks for the table andserving the people who were waiting for the reservation. There is no host stand at this place. People who are waiting for areservation wait in the small hallway or at the bar. The host is hard to get a hold of but once you do you are seated veryquickly. The server was amazing very on top of everything from waters to taken care of our every whim and question. He was veryknowledgeable about the History of the old house that the restaurant is operating within. The duck we had there was absolutelyamazing with the pomegranate reduction sauce. As we paid the bill and we?re walking out we had the pleasure of meeting the ownerwho was very down to earth and leveled with us as human beings instead of acting like he was above everybody else. We observedhim interacting with his staff as well and it seems as though they are all very good hearted and friendly with each other.Wonderful environment happy to support it. Very thoroughly enjoyed our service and experience. Read more

The food, atmosphere, and service, everything was great! We are recommended to get the chicken for main, was really really good.... Tender, juicy, and flavorful. The texture is fun, too. I totally agree with that is always on the menu (almost since theyopened). Read more

We were in Santa Rosa for a weekend trip and decided to try out this highly rated Italian restaurant. The restaurant was busy on... a Friday evening, I definitely recommend reserving a table a day or two in advance! The restaurant had such a beautifulambiance, lots of elegant and somewhat private outdoor seating with beautifully tall rose bushes around the seating area. Thedecor makes it the perfect date spot. The 2 of us ordered 2 appetizers and 2 main dishes: 1) Complementary bread andvinaigrette (10/10): the highlight here is definitely the balsamic vinegar which had a strong boozy / alcoholic taste. I?venever had anything like this and thought it was fantastic! 2) Impepata (8/10): this is the clams & mussels in tomato sauce. Thisdish was wonderfully garlicky, we used the bread to soak up every last bit of the sauce. My only complaint is the insufficientamount of seafood in this given the price. 3) Parmigiana (10/10): this is the layers of eggplant with cheese and tomato sauce. The eggplant was perfectly cooked, and layered into a lasagna fashion. This was perfect. 4) Rigatoni (7/10): the rigatoni dishwas quite standard. We enjoyed eating it except for the sausage bits which I thought would?ve been better if it was replacedwith a different type of meat or even omitted from the dish. 4) Carre? d?Agnello (3/10): I loved the presentation of this dish, however the taste was subpar. The lamb texture (medium-rare) was fine, but the flavor was really odd. The brown sauce was on thesweet side, while the lamb was heavily under-seasoned. We didn?t end up finishing half of the lamb; it was a huge disappointmentespecially given its price point. Overall the ambiance of the restaurant was fantastic. We enjoyed most of the dishes exceptfor the lamb. Service was quite slow but that could?ve been due to a large group hosting an event at the same time duringdinner. Read more

Excellent dinner spot in Santa Rosa with attentive staff and a great menu. We started with the beef carpaccio which was fresh... and flavorful! For mains we had the puff pastry wrapped chicken (one of the best things I?ve eaten in a long time was almostlike a chicken centered beef Wellington with a more sweet flavor), ravioli (excellent and buttery) and finished with the crèmebrûlée which had great notes of orange. The ambiance is wonderful and cozy but still upscale. Great place to celebrate aspecial occasion or treat yourself! Highly recommend Read more

An amazing Italian restaurant with very delicious food. The starter Crème of mushroom soup was fantastic. Along with my medium... rare filet minion steak and my partners rare rack of lamb. Drinks are phenomenal and so was the service. Read more
