First off, if a restaurant serves a side of pickles with every combo on its menu, they instantly have my attention. Second, I'm... unsure if it's in poor taste to post a picture of a half-eaten sandwich, but here it is. On one of my late-night TikTok sessionslast weekend I came across a video of a woman eating a Dave's Hot Chicken slider. After a quick google, I found one in SantaRosa. Doood! How is this SO GOOD?! Was hearing about this spot for quite sometime and it's definitely not a bad spot to fill a hot chicken craving, but it does... have some problems. To begin with the positives, the interior is very spacious, the staff is quite friendly, and the prices aredefinitely reasonable. I was also a big fan of their Strawberry Milkshake. Besides that, there are definitely a few problems Iwould like to point out. The first is that the levels of hotness are extremely underwhelming - for one, I got two 'Extra Hot'tenders and they were barely spicy. I thought this might be a one off experience, but a friend of mine who frequented thislocation also stated that this is usually the case. It is definitely a turn off for a hot chicken spot to have its second fromthe hottest flavor to not be hot in the slightest. I also wasn't a fan of the bread used with the sliders; have had much betterquality toast at other hot chicken spots with similar prices. Always I go here because its right next door to my work and B I?ve never been disappointed with the portions and there are many... levels of spice to choose from. MAKE SURE you try it with a little bit of honey packets they give you. It?s not the same withouta little honey and that sauce they have. Employees are wonderful and very helpful Read more

Solidly meh food. The tenders were good, but the rest wasn't worth the calories. The slider was quite mediocre, and the fries... were lukewarm and limp. They forgot the cheese on the sliders, even though we paid extra. The Dr Pepper was getting weak - itdefinitely needed to be changed to a fresh bag of mix. Long wait time too. Not likely that we'll be back. If I'm going to getjunk food, I'd rather go next door to Five Guys next time. Read more
