We stopped by Everest on our way to San jose and we're so glad we did. The reviews online were great and that's what made our... choice a bit simpler but even the reviews don't do justice to the high quality of food we ended up having. We had the veg andnon-veg thali and each item on it was fresh and yummy, the naan was the best we've ever had in the US, it was light and freshand was easy to chew (I rarely see it in Indian restaurants, especially in the bay area). The portions were generous and both mywife and I ended up cleaning up the whole thali (which doesn't happen often), and after having a heavy meal especially inrestaurants the food tends to make one very sluggish but it wasn't the case with everest, I think it just means that a) the foodwas fresh b) no or very little cooking additives were added to the food. We enjoyed everything we ended up having, the mangolassi was very balanced. To top it all, the overall meal was extremely reasonable (we've paid far more for food that was nowhereclose to the quality of food we had at Everest), the gentlemen who was serving us was very courteous and responsive. We can'tfind a flaw even if we want to. If this restaurant were closer to where we stay, we would definitely frequent it as much as wecan, but the distance is far too long for us to visit it often. All in all, a 5 star experience and if anyone wants to have goodIndian food in Santa rosa or are travelling further north up, this is a must stop for anyone who enjoys good food. Thank youEverest !! They are the best Indian restaurant around. I absolutely love their Saag Paneer, Madras Chicken, and Tikka Masala. I love... spicey and put hot sauce usually on everything and get medium level spicey here. If you ask for spicey it is too insane. Read more

I ordered delivery through Ubereats. I am so impressed. Large servings and it tasted great. They even gave me paper plates and... plastic silverware which is awesome since I am in a hotel on vacation and didn't have that stuff on me. If I ever visit theSanta Rosa area again, I will definitely reorder Indian from here. Read more

The food here is an absolute delight! I ordered lamb curry to share with my toddler son, and the lamb was cooked to absolute... perfection! It was perfectly tender and fall apart on the fork, easy for my young son to chew. Spiced and seasoned just right.Flavorful. Delicious. I couldn’t find any other restaurant that cook the lamb so perfectly. We will be back. Read more

We were very excited to try this restaurant, as we recently moved to Santa Rosa. Honestly I haven’t been more disappointed in... a restaurant in a long time. We ordered the lamb tikka masala, butter chicken, garlic basil naan and basmati rice. The rice camein bigger container than the actual entrees. The entrees were in pint sized cups with only 6 small, dry, overcooked pieces ofmeat in each of them. Ordered medium spice and it was very bland (no heat at all). The naan was chewy and tough. To be honest, the Trader Joe’s Indian food TV dinners are better than this. $40 down the drain. We won’t be going back. Read more

We get use to get take out from this place when they opened a few years ago and liked it but then they started not filling the... take out containers as a way to cut costs. We've since found another place but I decided to give them another try last night. They now use even smaller take out containers and still don't fill them. Expect to get about 25% less food on to-go orders thanother Indian places. The photo below shows how much food to expect next to a 10oz coffee cup for reference. Order more food thanyou normally would. Read more
