Small Mom and Pop Mexican place with excellent, well-prepared food. A definite cut above the quick taquerias that dot the Santa... Rosa area. Inside and outside seating plus takeout, from a varied menu with many delights. RETURN VISIT: We drive 14 miles orso, past many Mexican taquerias and restaurants, to come and dine at Los Arcos in Santa Rosa. The food is exceptional andfreshly prepared and the waitstaff and chef (usually Mom and Dad) are warm and accommodating. We always feel welcome here andthe food never disappoints. Good gravy in the navy is this place fantastic! The food is so good! It?s a small place if you want to dine in, but there are a... handful of tables both inside and out. The food is made to order and the salsas are made in house. Everything was fresh,wonderfully aromatic, and damned delicious! We stopped in around 11am for brunch - breakfast is served all day - and ended upgetting and sharing two different meals. The machaca (scrambled eggs and shredded beef with peppers and onions) was very wellmade, hearty, and delicious. The breakfast burrito with bacon was AMAZING. Amazing. I?ll go back just for that. Great place, was pleasantly surprised to see so many meatless options. I ordered a California burrito and it was huge! It can... easily feed 2 people. The margharita they make here is perfect, not too sweet or sour, just the right amount of refreshing. Theorange juice they make here is fresh, which adds to the flavor of the margharita.
