I?ve never ordered a cake in my life. Always made one but I was traveling to the area for my sons 5th birthday and ordered the... chocolate and salted caramel cake for 15-20 people. So you think taking advantage of patrons is OK, we'll see about that! This is not the first time at this location that I have... been over charged for BAGS, this will be the last time though. The good employees at Oliver's Market will charge you for 3 or 4bags when you used one. Check your receipts as I did tonight, charged for only 2 tonight but none the less walked out with onebag. This time it was Chloe (cashier 19 for you at Oliver's) at register 1. I think that you think that this behavior is OKbecause this is like the 10th time I've caught this, and this is just me and just the times I've caught you. Local for localright??? Or is it all about your pockets now!?!? Sonoma County... Santa Rosa how much do you think they make a day fromthis?!?!? $100.00.... $1,000.00????? Now how much a year!?!? My sister says this is her favorite store, shopping there for at least a decade....She now will not ever return to Oliver's. I'm... sharing because she is too nice to do so. She was so creeped out by the service she received at the meat department, that shehad to call me when she got home to tell me about it. My sister is the sweetest person socially and this came as a shock to methat she could be on the receiving end of this treatment. After getting off work late, she stopped at Oliver's but hurried,knowing the meat department would be closing in less than an hour. With 45 minutes left, she placed an order with the "meathead" which obviously triggered some sort of dark energy in the man. The following expressions and service she received werenothing short of inappropriate and creepy. Creepy enough to not return, ever...to her favorite store....? Wow. I hope thisdoesn't happen to someone else. We don't want to say his name or know his circumstance, but definitely needs to know the affecthe can have on someone who arrives cheerful and leaves negatively impacted. Read more
I've shopped Oliver's for many years now. It's a really fine store. I shop at the Stony Point store now. I purchased my usual... Stemple Creek hamburger meat. But this time it was overly fatty. So much so that I had to de grease my stove this morning beforeI cooked breakfast. Disappointed. Never had to before. Read more
I love the store! And I shop here all the time. However I?m shopping here less and less, as I see their prices go up more than... in other stores. Today, two stars for a deli wrap that?s about a third smaller than it used to be, and I do (or did) buy themall the time, and, they are consistently smaller. And all the while the price on it goes up. If you?re going to raise yourprices -OK, I get it inflation- can?t you at least keep your sandwiches full size? Read more
Great grocery store. There's a great selection here, and you can find both local and big brands here. The staff is nice and... while things are sometimes on the expensive side, it is worth it. The deli has some nice options, and there is a ton of premadefood that Oliver's makes that you can buy as well. Read more
Wonderful local grocery store. The selection of quality products is immense. You could spend all day in here perusing things!... The fruits and vegetables are generally great quality. The prices on most things aren't the cheapest, so it's nice to findthings on sale. There's everything you could want at a grocery store - product, bakery, meat dept., dairy section, gourmetcheeses, boxed goods, deli, packaged convenient stuff like fruits and nuts and other goodies. The bakery makes wonderfulbirthday cakes and other treats. I love the health section and testing/smelling the essential oils. Also love the ground peanutbutter and greeting card/gift section. The staff here are super friendly and the overall ambiance is nice. The parking at thislocation is a little stressful at times. Other than that, it's one Oliver's location that is great to shop at. We loved to getbirthdays cake here. The bakery knows how to make beautiful cakes and decorates them so nicely. Read more
My go to store. They stock everything I need. Great produce. Butcher on site. Carry baskets are filthy. Always dirty. No sense... in complaining they never clean them. I bring my own carry bags for shopping. Read more
