This is a good family run restaurant, the owner is very engaged with his customers and the local community. I tend to eat here... once a week with my dad for dinner, last night he happened to mention after the 2017 fires the owner refused to accept any moneyfrom him for the first several weeks he ate there following the loss of his home, despite the fact that their food is excellent,hearing what they did for my dad and I suspect other community members just put this establishment over the top. The design ofthe building is also amazingly well thought out, small to medium open bar at the front, large rear open dining area with largecenter fireplace, and enclosed outdoor side seating area. The bar can get a little loud on game night, but the people, food, andatmosphere are good year round, I've been eating here for nearly 13 years and plan on many more to come. Read more
Didn't appreciate having my order changed without my choice. Ordered raviolis and discovered it was a poor lasagna. One strip of... pasta, barely any meat sauce and a lot of stiff cheese. Read more
I ordered the salmon and it came with mashed potatoes and vegetables. Veggies were a little bit cold. Won't stress about it... because it was very hot outside. Hostess was nice. Margarita was not so good. Read more
I have had bad experiences with Italian food, but that’s not the case with the Union Hotel. This is the best Italian... restaurant. The service was great, and the food was even better. My wife and I will be back again. Read more
Upon entering we were not really greeted. It felt as though they were surprised we wanted to dine there. The restaurant itself... was very dark so we chose to sit outside. Outside was a lot better as they had a few TVs that were playing March madness games.The server was really nice and welcoming when we ordered he told us about fried chicken sandwiches that were not in their menu.I had the extremely spicy fried chicken sandwich with mac and cheese. The bun was toasted really well and the chicken wasdelicious. Usually when I order extra spicy most places aren't that spicy but this one definitely had a kick to it. Great place, environment pretty loud that’s what I like since I’m loud. However, service was great. Dinner was excellent and... it’s a great place to have Italian dish. So anyone out the area that like a cozy place come here. Love food, lovelife….???????? Read more
