Enjoyed Willi's in mid-December for a pre-Christmas Wine trip and was not disappointed! The four of us were glad we had... reservations on a Wednesday, which was surprisingly crowded. We were promptly seated in a very cozy, brightly lit area in therear of the restaurant. There is also a small outside area, but it was a bit too cool that evening. One of the best parts ofthis experience was the staff! From water refills to servers to general staff, everyone was very helpful and smiling- that'shuge these days with all the conflict going on. I want to enjoy myself when I go out! And the tapas items were excellent aswell! We had several different plates and shared, which is the best way to go. From the spinach salad to the pork ribs to thesoup shooters, every single tapas was interesting and tasty! We also enjoyed a nice beverage list. For the four of us, withdrinks and 10 tapas, it was a little under $200, which is pretty darn good for that area! Come support a local restaurantrebirth (their first place was also delish and happy!) Everything was delicious that we ordered. The calamari was SO good. We shared our plates between the 3 of us. Calamari, scallop... dumplings, mac&cheese, goat cheese fritters, pulled duck bbq and butterscotch creme brulee. We will definitely be back the nexttime we're in town. Service was great as well! Wow. What a wonderful experience this evening at Willi’s. I’d originally had our reservation scheduled for the other... Willi’s in Healdsberg but based on the recommendation of someone local, we decided to switch. I’m so glad we did. My familyand I are staying in Healdsberg for the week but happily drove down to Santa Rosa for dinner for the evening. I kept telling myparents how great a place like this would do in our shore town in New Jersey. I absolutely loved it!!! All the food wasfantastic, as was the service and the ambiance. Loved sitting outside and enjoying the gorgeous evening. All 3 of the differentwine flights my family tried were fantastic. The only one thing they could have improved on was cooking the lamb to medium ormedium rare. It was pretty well done, but still edible and flavorful. We just don’t like our lamb cooked that much through.Would happily go back and recommend to anyone! Read more
Went to the new location that recently re-enter. Food and dishes are good and there are many that are brought back from the old... location. Truffle fries are great and the fillet mignon sliders are great. The new locater gnocchi taste good. The cheeseselection and the wine tasting didn't impress me like they used to before, however.
