My favorite southern breakfast. Whatever you’ve had before, it’s not this breakfast. The differentiating element isn’t the... waitstaff or atmosphere, it’s the food, as it should be. The appearance from the outside is naively similar to every other“locally famous” breakfast spot, but the second you see the menu you will understand. Grits a yaya, Benedict’s out thewazoo, veggie frittata, house made sage sausage, beignet donuts, secret hot sauce, and of course this is on top of the classicsthey already do so well. This restaurant either meets the bar or exceeds it in every category, consistently. And if you ask me,that is the true sign of greatness. Read more

Service was slow. cheesy grits good and French dip tasted like pot roast if you’re into that you’ll love it. Burger was well... done they did not ask how you wanted. Kinda dry. Fish was good and mash potatoes as well. Overall good environment if you’resitting out there is not much fan or air circulation. I found the waitress not that friendly and seemed in a rush. The biggestdownside that I’m telling you here that I was not aware was the 3.5 percent up charge for using a credit card. Not cool andmaybe I’m not use to that but I can’t say I have been to too many places that do that Read more

We enjoyed our experience here! Delicious virgin drinks. The grits a ya ya dish was the best! The mushroom creamy gravy was so... good. Easily shareable if you plan on ordering appetizers and dessert. The service was quick and our waters were filledfrequently. The key lime pie was good with a meringue top! Fried okra was yummy. Also enjoyed the collard green and artichokedip. Read more

Great Southern Cafe was fantastic! Excellent food, drinks and service! I especially liked the Carson chicken sandwich. The... oyster trio was great. The salmon salad and salmon entrees were delicious. Read more

10/10 would recommend. The name isn’t lying, it truly is a great southern cafe! We had the fried pork chops with three sides... and the great southern dip sandwich. Both were delicious! We also had a watermelon-coconut mojito and calamari which was alsovery good! I would eat here again and would highly recommend it to anyone. Read more

The shrimp and grits, the salad, the oysters, everything was awesome. The service was awesome - friendly, attentive, fast,... considerate, and wish I could think of more adjectives. They had coloring sheets and crayons for the kids. Also kids’ cups toavoid broken glass or spills. Definitely a do-not-miss place and we made reservations for breakfast. ???????? Read more

2??- there are better places the menu had potential but delivery was poor. granted it was friday after thanksgiving and there... were so many people but that is not an excuse. yes, the place was typical 30A seaside prices so it will be fair to compare themwith other 30A places. The food was mediocre and we ordered a variety of entrees and sandwiches. What made me give it a 2 ?? isthe service. Our server was very rude and hinted that she wanted to clear our table because they were ready to turn our table. To think we haven’t gotten our bill yet and still had half of our drinks. Read more

Amazing experience! Amazing Atmosphere! I couldn’t quite taking pictures of everybody’s plate! The presentation was... ??????????! We had a group of 12 and made reservations, but still had to wait about 15 min. , but it was totally okay. It was apacked house so I recommend getting there early or make reservations weeks in advance. You could sit inside or outside on thepatio. The weather was nice so we choose to sit outside! Best Mohito I ever had and so many different flavors to choose from. Ihighly recommend this place! Until next time! Read more
