My husband and I went to Roux 30A last night. We sat at the bar and were able to watch the chef and his talented team all night.... The food was amazing. It’s impossible for me to pick my favorite course as each was just as spectacular as the next. We willdefinitely be making this spot a must anytime we visit the area. 2022 update: second visit as enjoyable as the first yet still exceeded expectations. This time we were joined by a wonderful... couple who made the evening very special. Our menu seemed more refined and more diverse palate-wise. We hedged our wine optionsby trying both the Select and Grand Cru pairings with both very enjoyable with the latter having a significant edge. Just makethe reservation. 2021: Phenomenal wine list, we had the prestige pairing and LOVED the whole experience. Although I wasinitially concerned about the location, it was the service, food, and wine which made the our night celebrating our anniversaryincredibly special. Although I'm focusing on a plant based diet (vegan) they artfully modified my six-course meal withthoughtful variations which occasionally surpassed my wife's "regular" meal. Highly recommend!!! If I could leave 10 stars I would. We moved to the south 8 years ago; this was by far the best meal we've had yet. We visited... for the 5-course tasting menu & it exceeded our expectations. Chef John was beyond fantastic. Not quite sure why he isn'tfeatured on the website but he deserves so much cred! He & his crew run that kitchen seamlessly. Definitely sit at the bar towatch the perfect harmony. Korey our server was so great! Super down-to-earth & funny. This was our sixth visit to Roux30a and it has been fabulous each time. They always have new and exciting offerings. The... six-course dinner series is wonderful, but on this trip we tried the 5:00 snack hour and it didn’t disappoint. We do wishthey would bring back their standard menu which they had on our first visit a few years back. This is one of our favoriterestaurants on 30a and unlike any other dining experience in the area! Read more
Absolute phenomenal dinner by Chef @roux30a. What a creative mind putting together a 6 course meal for us from local sea and... farm to table resources full of unforgettable flavors in every bite. Wine pairing was fantastic and staff service was excellent.Nothing but suburb all around! My only complaint is we don't have a location near us in GA. Lol. We had the entire restaurant for the extended family - grandparents, parents, kids, aunt and uncle. It was truly a great... experience. It will be a lasting memory - and for the kids maybe a fond one. Got to watch Chef Daniel do his magic with theingredients. The kids plates were a big hit. Great place for a date night or celebration. Seating is limited... I would say about 36-42 seats total including bar space. My... wife made the reservations we knew a little about the restaurant. We had been to a place like this in St. Thomas and loved it.Glad we found a place like it close to home. It is a tasting resturant that gives you in this case decent sized portions of eachcoarse. Amazing house sparkling wine, and starting off with some kind of salad. The menu changes every Tuesday. Looking forwardto celebrating with them again soon!
