I have been wanting to try this bakery since a friend of mine showed me their croissants on social media. My experience was a... mixed one, and while it was far from negative I'm not sure I will return. My dining partner and I ordered and split thefollowing: a chai latte, a lemon croissant, an apricot-almond croissant, a chai maple tart, a vegan breakfast burrito, and abreakfast croissant sandwich. While the chai latte tasted fine, it was not very hot when delivered. The lemon croissant wasgood, but the curd did not wow me. The pastry was, however, a very crispy and a proper laminated dough. The apricot-almondcroissant was on the bready side, but the halved apricot and "danish" topping were very delicious. The chai maple tart had adelicious buttery crust and a very light, whipped filling, but I found both flavors to be very weak and unexciting. I tasted nomaple. My breakfast burrito was good. I thought the portion size was very fair, and it came with a side of fresh fruit whichwas nice. However, I found the roasted vegetables inside to be a bit large and a difficult to navigate around. The hash brownsin it completely disappeared and were in no way crispy or noticeable. The breakfast sandwich was probably the tastiest item! The croissant was incredibly crispy and flaky, the scrambled eggs had a nice browning to the outside of them, and the bacon wassubstantial and delicious. However, what prevented it from being elevated to greatness was the lackluster cheese. While it wasadvertised as sharp, it was incredibly mild and disappeared. Special recognition goes out to the owner and every member of thestaff! They were very accommodating, friendly, and attentive without hovering. While this place wasn't for me, I urge others totry it out and wish them nothing but success. Read more

In town with friends for a mini vacation. The Baker's Table was a block from where we stayed. It's great little cafe/bakery. I... enjoyed an Americano with a lemon ginger scone. It was delightful. I will be back when in town again. Read more

Food is pretty tasty. It's the cleanest and freshest breakfast you can get in SY. The only reason I am rating it so low is the... service. I've eaten here numerous times and my food consistently comes out cold, undercooked, or just forgotten (yes, they lostmy order 2 times now). If you have all day to eat try this place. Also, they dont have "public wifi". Read more

If you happen to find yourself in the Santa Ynez Valley then you are one of the lucky ones who have the opportunity to dine at... The Baker?s Table. The truly exquisite croissants and plethora of other delicate indulgent and quite frankly addicting pastriesare just one of the reasons we are frequent ( like three times a week) customers. I am not sure what magic goes into creatingthese amazing little pillows of butter and all that is good but I am in. Hit them up for lunch and try the Cobb Salad or a sliceof the daily quiche special. You will not be disappointed. Oh they also have a great coffee bar but honestly I am just here forthe croissants. Read more

YUM!!! Every once in awhile one finds a gem of a place, where one wants to come back to again and again. To try all of their... mouth watering temptations one at a time. Knowing that each croissant, scone, macaroon, quiche, breakfast and lunch item willexplode all of your 5 senses at once. Did I mention their coffee, breads, and helpful caring service. Stop what you're doing, and head to Santa Ynez. But get there before 2, because they sell out fast. Read more

What a lovely place this was! Large and bright, while still feels warm and quaint. Spectacular pastries, breads and quiches. My... latte was probably the best I'd ever had; even so much that I had to buy some coffee beans to take home! The staff is extremelyfriendly and you can tell they get a lot of regular locals as well as tourists. Read more
