Had a 5pm reservation was greeted and seated immediately place looked great my wife and I was celebrating my wife's birthday.... Service was great we started with the appetizer special which was stuffed shrimp. theme seafood and pasta dishes we ordered waswonderful. My wife is from Boston and normally we don't order seafood outside of the coast but I must say we were both impressedwith the entrees. Then for dessert we had tiramisu and a chocolate cheesecake we were very happy with our whole diningexperience I would definitely recommend this place I'm sorry for those that had bad experiences here if they really did but ourexperience was nothing but joy this place is top-notch in our eyes. Plus Robbie our server did a great job and so did all of thepeople that was doing our water and taking our plates. Read more

Amazing dinner tonight! Quickly seated, great service, amazing appetizers and entrees. Kids loved the fettuccine and... tortellini. I had the sea bass which melt in your mouth and had so much flavor. My husband had the rigatoni with huge piecesof crab claws and shrimp. Everyone left very full and so happy! We will definitely be coming back! The owner was so nice andpersonable. Must visit if in St. Louis. You will not be disappointed! Read more

Well, that was an experience. First off was surprised to find it was in a strip mall which is fine. Some of my favorite... establishments are rough looking from the outside. I wanted to give my wife a lovely night out and some good food. It was nota good start. I have never seen such a pretentious group of employees in my life. Just know, you will be judged the second youwalk in and if they deem you not up to their standards the Owner will make that very evident. Now to make this clear my wifeand I were well dressed for nice casual night out. We witnessed this happen to two other couples/family's while we had dinner. The food was oK. What you would expect for Italian food in a old shopping plaza. Unfortunately the staff made it to where wewould never return again. I strongly suggest find a nice place on the Hill to have an amazing meal. Read more

Disappointed in the way the owners wife and server treated my wife and I. We never sat at the table. My wife heard Roberto's... wife telling the server she is sorry for seating us in his section. Well I am sorry to the server also. Since my wife an I bothwork in the industry he lost out on a significant gratuity payment. Next time don't judge books by their covers. A side note Ishould have known better than to try and eat there. Roberto and his wife was always extremely rude, cussing and yelling at theemployees at the casino they visit daily and I used to work at. They definitely think they are better than others. Read more

We came here last night to celebrate my birthday. When my husband made the reservation he also mentioned that. When we were... seated, the gentleman who was filling water came over right away. To be honest, the guys coming around filling water glasses andbringing the bread were the best part of our experience. They were kind, courteous and friendly. When our server got to ourtable, that was a different story. Our server did not so much as give a greeting or anything. He came up to the table and justsaid "What are you drinking?" And that was it. No greeting, no introducing himself. I have no idea what his name even was. Oncewe got our drinks he just ask, "what are you having?" We had to ask what the specials were that evening, it was not somethingthat we would have been told unless we asked. I had the lobster bisque, which was just ok. I also had a piece of lobster shellin my soup which wasn't pleasant. There was very little lobster in the bowl. It certainly wasn't worth $14. My husband and Iboth had the filet porcini. The filet was good, the sauce was ok - didn't taste like a 'fine dining' type of dish. We both hadthe pasta with garlic and oil for the side. The garlic tasted like it was raw it was so strong. Throughout the meal I felt likeour table was a bother to our server because we weren't one of his regular tables. He was chit chatting with his other tables, but barely spoke with us at all. When it came to dessert, my husband mentioned that it was my birthday. I said I was too fullto have anything there, but I asked for a piece of tirimisu to go. He then asked if I'd like complimentary gelato for mybirthday. I got amaretto and my husband got chocolate. The amaretto gelato was fantastic! I was sad I was so full and could onlyhave a few bites. The gelato was my favorite part of my meal. My photos I've attached were of the tirimisu. It was an extremelysmall piece for it being $9. It was good, but way over priced. My husband and I had dined at Rober Read more

My family and I enjoyed our son's 22nd birthday dinner at Roberto's last night. We arrived promptly at 430 pm, our reservation... time, and we were warmly welcomed by all. This dinning experience was very elegant, warm, friendly with cozy family feelingthroughout our stay. Since it was our very first visit, we asked questions about the menu items so we could pick our entrees. Our waiter and assistants were very attentive throughout the meal. Our food was promptly brought out when ready piping hotsmelling of the best Italian flavors. We loved our meals: chicken parmesan, scallops with spinach was divine, mouth wateringtortellini with peas and mushrooms (so good), and oh yes the toasted ravioli appetizer was also very delicious. I choose thehouse dressing and I wished I picked something else as the flavor, for me, wasn't pleasing my taste palette. I'm veryadventurous trying new things and every once in awhile I get it wrong. We can't wait to come back to try something different andsoak up more finely prepared pasta dishes. The attention to detail was felt in every delicious pasta bite. Mr. Zanti and allstaff, thank you for a very lovely evening we will always fondly remember. We felt like we were in Italy with all the perfectambience of what it must be like to eat at a truly amazing Italian restaurant far away in our own lovely hometown of St. LouisMO. Mr. Zanti, I've read a lot of your replies to customers. I admirer your high quality standards not compromising price forquality food. We tasted your loving care and attention to detail throughout the whole meal. I love how you defend and honoryour restaurants by not cowering to terrible unflattering remarks by standing up to bullies. We will recommend your restaurantto friends and family for their next special diner out on the town. Thanks to all! Read more
