I had been waiting for this open since the first time I saw the sign. I use to always get my pizza from Papa Johns when I lived... near one. So it has been several years. Anyway I am really hoping I just got a one off because I was really disappointed. Thepizza was not good at all. No sauce on it. Was little bit of sauce that you could actually see was cooked so therefor it wasdry. You know how sometimes the crust will bubble up sometimes and push through the cheese and toppings. Well mine had aboutfour of them and they were big. The Pepperoni's most of them looked overcooked, almost burned. It looked like it had beensitting for a while and I only live 5 minutes down the street. I went home from there without any stops. I mean a hot andready pizza from Little Caesars was much better than what I got last night. Considering how long I have wanted a pizza fromPapa Johns and how long it has been since the last time I had one. I was so let down. I guess its my fault for not checking. I am usually pretty good at checking before I leave. I guess I just remember the pizzas I use to get from Papa Johns years ago. They were awesome. The only problem is if you do check before and its a bad one. You tell them and they offer to make a newone. There is usually always those people that take it personal and get mad. Then you get to worry about if they are going todo something to it now. The place was nice, clean, and new. The person who took my order over the phone was nice. Thats whatthe two stars are for. I really think a bad one slipped through because Papa Johns Pizzas are usually very good. Read more
Was excited for Papa Johns to open in Saraland. We love Papa Johns, however after ordering several different times and getting... under cooked cold pizza, hard old tasting crust and wrong orders we won't be ordering again. So disappointed because thelocation on Government St is amazing! Read more
Tried them 3 times since opening. The dough is trash. My last order was carryout and I learned why. They have about 20 premade... crusts sitting on racks in open air. Its hard and chewy. Better off with frozen pizzas Read more
they got the pizza crusts backwards therfor i had to eat this thin peice of cheese like cardboard while some of the family was... eatin mouth waterin handtossed peperoni pizza. therfor they get a 3. woulda been 2-1/2 but i couldnt figure out how to do a halfstar. YEE!!YEE!!! JJ Read more
I can't believe I waited all this time for them to open and the very first pizza I got had a hair cooked in it . I used to love... Papa John's Pizza but that's my last order ! Couldn't tell if it was a red hair or a blonde but they need to keep their headscovered ! Read more
Let me just start off by saying pizza is my favorite food! And this was my first time coming to Papa John?s in Saraland. And now... it will be the only pizza place I go to! Not only was my pizza deliciously made but everyone in the store was super friendly andhelpful. Upon arrival the store was very clean and you could see the manager working alongside his employees which is very nicenowadays because they usually sit in the office..
